OZB_EOFY_$500OFF

Hi OzBargain,

OzBargain's demanded favourite minimum VRAM threshold at 16GBs today in a rig with incredible value. It is still lower priced than building yourself, and with our 3-year warranty and lifetime support. Although not on the latest AM5 platform and DDR5 RAM, this is the best possible priced 16GB VRAM system available and a compromise that some OzBargainers may be accepting of. Pricing for RAM and SSDs is still continuously in an upward trend, and is making a lot of the mid to higher end deals outside of the expected OzBargain price range, unfortunately. These days, a middle ground or compromise has to be made for it to be a bargain.

Wish this was the price for a more current gen system.

    Thanks AI

      was just last year

i m confused about this price with AM4 mobo & CPU

    • +9

Because even DDR4 memory is expensive, and the SSD is too. That's the reality right now.

      • +1

Back in my day we used to walk to school in the snow, barefoot, uphill both ways.

  • +4

That's one way to get around DDR5 shenanigans.

    • +1

      😅

  • anywhere to see the dimensions of the case?

  • What's the wukong fps

    • +2

Over 60fps with high settings at 1440p.

Google some reviews with this rig / with this CPU GPU combo

      • Not bad at all

  • +6

great to see deals even in these dark times, for those who need to build now, the prebuilds on ozbargains are likely the best you're gonna get

  • +1

This is what the Steam Machine would be with more VRAM

  • +1

Fudge, where was this back in January lol

  • This or PS5 pro?

Just kidding, this is $111 less than the PS5 pro, and $61 if delivery is included.

  • +1

Honestly though, if you're really wanting to use DDR4 for something a bit more current and better performing would be to pair it to I7 14700K or something similar with the DDR4 motherboard combination. It's a little hot, but the performance should still be better than this and not that much more expensive. Only bad side is that it's a bit warm (good for upcoming winter lol) but can always go the KF version of the chip to bring the temperatures down a bit but still beat this chip.

    • Even a 12400 beats this slightly, is less buggy and has quicksync. Seems like a distant memory when techfast had their $688 12400/4060 systems although the 9060Xt is a better card.

  • +1

I'd probably stretch for an AM5 with 7600 or something for longevity. Also i had usb controller stability issues with my 5600 and i wasnt alone (you can Google). Rest of the specs are good though.

    • +1

Their doing this to get around the DDR5 RAM pricing.

Store Rep - the link to the "RX 9060 XT 16GB' you've accidentally pasted the EDIT link we can't access. Thanks. good deals btw.

    • +1

      Sorry fixed 😅.

I just tried to use OZB_EOFY_$500OFF and OZB_MARCHMADNESS_$500OFF on an "Asteria" PC. Neither code worked (which really just means that I don't know what month it is and don't know what I'm doing! 😂).

Any love for the RYZEN 7 7800X3D / RTX 5070 Ti range right now? 🙏

    • +1

Yes, it won't work for that build. They will only work for the OzBargain specified systems 😁. Let me know if you have any troubles still!

Not for the RTX 5070 Ti range at this stage, weird SKU and price to performance proposition that OzBargain isn't too keen on.

      • Just trying to understand - does this have anything to do with FY? I assume there is no tax deductibility on these things? Ta

        • Yes, it does. I can't comment too much on how individuals or businesses want to do their tax deductions. Best to check with a professional, though I can say people who legitimately require them for their business or work can claim it as a tax deduction.

  • Deliver to NZ?

    • Really tough to provide a return to base warranty, etc. We did it a few times before, but in the long term, more volume won't work.
