The Outer Worlds Spacer's Choice Edition is Getting Some Updates!

Along with the second patch, we have big store changes planned. Starting May 27th, the base game edition of The Outer Worlds will be delisted and the Spacer’s Choice Edition will be the single version of the game going forward. For those who already have the original version of the game in your libraries, it won’t be going anywhere. After May 27th, however, the only version of The Outer Worlds that will be available on most store pages will be the Spacer’s Choice Edition. The only platforms not affected by this are Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.

But wait, there’s more! If you have at least the base edition of The Outer Worlds in your library before May 27th, you will be receiving the Spacer’s Choice Edition free. That’s right, free! This is for all platforms that the Spacer’s Choice Edition is on (Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG). After May 27th, The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition will be available for $39.99.

    The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition has been an Epic freebie twice. The base game was a Prime/GOG freebie late 2024 so if you have that in your library you should automatically get the Spacer's Choice Edition.

      Not all heroes wear capes. Sometimes they just went on Ozbargain and reminded people about the deals they might have forgotten :D

    I have it on gog from a Prime gaming freebie. I wonder if they'll let me upgrade? I really tried to like the 2nd game but found it kind of soulless

    Outer worlds is one of those games you think is kickarse when you start it and then after 5 hours realise it doesnt go anywhere.

      2019, launched on last gen, then got remastered for modern consoles.
