        i dont thinks its 2 times, Qantas flight return can be seen around 1k-1.2k returns and direct flight.

          @khmerunited: I paid $1145 return with Qantas. Direct flight 10 hours. Fiji flights are 17+ flights with stop overs. Id rather pay the couple of hundred extra to shave 7 hours off my flight time

    Rarely does anyone say Qantas is the better option, but in comparison to Qantas, the Fiji option would be long and tiring and with such a small fleet it is susceptible to cascading delays. If you want a Fiji stopover, then it's a different story.

      flight 4hr, then 4hrs stop over at Fiji then another 9hrs to reach Tokyo. Might think if it all worth the saving?

    I rang FIJI Airways regarding that. They said I had to use the Multi-city/Fiji Stopover option on their website.

    It added a bit to the price. Got one way flight Melb to Tokyo for $617 with 3 days spent in FIJI.

  Not worth it, I'd rather fly Jetstar direct for less or Qantas direct.
