    What, no white!

    • +3

      And scratches all over

    • It should be taxi yellow

      • -2

lol, yellow taxis haven't been a thing in VIC in over a decade.

        • Some taxis are still yellow. It's just not mandated to be yellow anymore

          • @Jake17: Correct. Only about 10% of taxis are yellow these days, but you'll never see this model Camry in yellow because the rules changed before this model came out.

  • +29

    jasper red only

Sigh I guess I’ll 3d print my own mini 92-96 gold Camry with tissue box in back window

    • +22

As a bonus you can also add the Camry dent to it.

      • +23

I was thinking Holden commodore with a random colour front quarter panel , missing fuel cap and coat hanger aerial

        • +7

          Toyota Lexen.

      • +7

and bunnings straw hat to the parcel shelf

        • +3

When does production start? I'm all in.

      • My 2010 Corolla has one, I hope it still counts

    • +3

Surely you wouldn't 3D print a car? After downloading the print files.
      Car piracy, not cool.

    • +1

Interestingly, the 92-96 Camry was never available in gold in Australia, unlike in the USA. Black wasn't available either.

  • +6

    Damn, no Champagne/Gold!

  • +10

How can we be expected to pick up Uber passengers if they can't even fit inside the car? The car has to be at least three times bigger than this.

    • +10

      That's a nice model sir.

      Model?

      • +7

        Hop in.

        I said, hop in.

    • +6

What is this, a Camry for ants?

  • +3

This deal's gonna explode. I can feel it.

    • +6

Yep, I'm buying five as a high yield investment.

    • Hardly any stock nearby. Sold out before ozbargained.

  • +4

Better get in early, these will go fast.

    • +1

Gonna be a horde of old people ignoring the big screens in favor of this gem!

      • +3

Impromptu ozbargain meetup in the middle specials aisle

        • +1

Trade you my classic vw beetle for a camry

  • +2

Do you have to put your own scrapes on the bumpers?

  • +5

    Should last 20+ years

  • +6

You no longer have to imagine being stuck behind it. You can put it in front of you as you sit on the couch.

    • +2

As long as you place it in the right lane

  • +1

    How much rego?

    • +5

      60 day satisfaction guarantee.

  • +1

Long have I dreamed of owning…

  • +2

I need this in silver to match lol

  • +1

Omg it's the OzB vehicle of choice!

  • +6

only brand new car i can afford

  • I thought aldi started selling Toyotas

  • +1

I need a specific type of green

    • Don't think Aldi sells Pineapple Express

  • +4

Just to let everyone know that a new Camry with the vinyl seat option is nearly $60k driveaway.

    • +3

      Inflation out of hand

    • +3

Amazing to think that no so long ago a Camry sourced from Japan was under $30k, with the top spec V6 in the low to mid 40s.

      • We had state sponsored Camry prices back then. They couldn't increase it too much straight away when it moved to Japan

      • +2

I loved my v6 "touring editing" Camry. Was great for road trips. Sadly got t-boned by someone turning across my lane without looking, which knocked me off course to go straight into a (heritage) concrete street light pole so couldn't even salvage the engine :'(

        • +5

On the upside you survived? Sometimes blows my mind how one little error from another driver could potentially just end a life

          • +1

@Jimothy Wongingtons: checks pulse Can confirm I survived. Didn't even need hospital after ambo checked me out. Luckily was only going a bit under 60km/h but literally nothing I could do. Saw the other car just as it was about to hit me and didn't even get to finish my utterance of "Fu.." before it hit me, let alone swerve or hit the brakes. Other driver was a P plater and she was shaken up even more than me but also lucky unharmed. ACT government kept chasing ME for the cost of the light pole though! I just kept replying with my insurance company number and claims number until they stopped. Comprehensive insurance is a must! Although there's another rant in here about "agreed value" vs "market value" and scummy insurance companies….

  • +7

    WHAT!!! No maroon coloured ones??

Do these come with the sun faded paint with clear coat peeling up or do I need to patina that myself?

  • Does it come with the mandatory box of tissues on the back parcel tray

  • Does it run a million kms? Or a million years on the shelf?

    • +1

The earth won’t exist that long.

      • +2

There's a jimny available as well.

        • Haha, I saw that. I was going to make a “no jimny no deal” joke but thought I better check first just in case.
Pleasantly surprised but probably won’t buy one as I don’t have desk at work or home and it would be blasphemy to put a new jimny on the dash of the old one.

  • +2

Do they have the white uber model?

  • +1

I will report back in 20 years and 400,000km on any reliability problems.

  • all the ones i want are sold out in a 20km radius 😔😔

  • -1

Don't let the pictures deceive you, 1:64 Scale is very small.

    • +2

I'd assume anyone that picks these up in person would notice.

    • +2

      That's what she said.

    • +6

True, I'd say they're about 64 times smaller than the real thing.

    • +1

It’s ot the size it’s how you use it

      • *It's not the size, it's how you drive it…

    • For some reason the Jimny is hilariously oversized at 1:48.

      • They're probably like hotwheels and none of them are true to scale but rather scaled to fit the package.

  • +3

Never owned one, but mid 2000's Camry is surely best car ever made. Destined to outlast mankind:)

    • +2

Archeologists in like year 4069 gonna find a well looked after White 2000 camry buried in a desert and think it was symbol of our god 'Toyota’ (and it will prob still turn over with a new battery)

      • +1

Haha, I was actually going to make a similar comment!

They are the Chuck Norris of the car world:) May he RIP.

  • +3

    Paging 20YearOldCamry dude

    • +4

Do you mean @30year old Camry

      • +2

        They got older I see.

    • My brother owns a19yo Camry which he bought new. Does that count?

      • No, there's an OzB user with that username

  • +3

Had a 2004 Camry. Epic unbreakable sedan, and as a family we all miss our “Blue”.

But I’ll save my $2.50 for a litre of fuel (under the new world order)

    • +4

The WEF thanks you for your obedience…

    • Best Camry that one. Unbreakable and super reliable.

  • Gotta need a bluetooth headset deal to complete my setup.

  • Sad I missed out

  • +1

    Cheaper than diesel.

  • does anyone know what model year the die cast prado is?

  • +2

    Where's Tesla…

    • Too crazy for Aldi

  • +2

I can finally buy the car of my dreams. A 2019 Toyota Camry

  • +2

    No gold vienta ☹️

  • Does this model crash into everything like the real ones do?

  • Is it just the one colour, or do we have the 13CABS variant?

  • +1

Def marketed to the 2 type of people on oZb, those that have a Camry or a high yield investment.

  • Got one of the AE86s for the work desk. Odd that the pop up headlights are black. The Jimny also looked nice but didn't like the wheels much.

  • This is the old model Camry, not the current shape.

    • +2

      So it's the classic.

      • +1

I suppose it's the longest running generation of Camry ever - lasting nearly 8 years.

  • +1

    I wanted a silver Camry!

Bought one new from 2007 as family car. Could have still lasted until today if it hasn't got write-off from a collision on front right side with a 17yo P-plated in 2021.

  • +1

    Glemore park NSW have plenty
