  • Isn't it usually cheaper at coles with 1/2 price?

    • Had a quick look and got sticker shock, full price is $39.

      • Get the same Aldi home

    • Coles currently $19.50 with 1/2 price special. Normal price $39 for 4l.
They're kidding themselves people would pay almost $40 for this :)

We normally use the ALDI trimat 2l liquid which I think is about $5 from memory. Have had no issues with it. Is it worth the extra $$$ for this?

    • No, I believe Trimat works better according to Choice Test.

    Buy laundry powder.

    Liquid doesn't clean as well

    • Says who? You? Any testimony or testing that you like to cite ? Cause if we are yelling out random claims I’d like to say that the colour purple is fun enough.

It's true, according to Choice tests year after year, the powders perform better than the liquids at dirt removal.

    • powders are also better for dishwashers, but dishwasher powders come in plastic jugs, not a cardboard box that traps half the powder between walls and throw the other half up in your lungs when you try to load them into actually usuable containers

Use sand mix with salt and beat the cloth in the river it’s so much cheaper, Levi Strauss did that one day and invented denim and could flog it to death

    • burning the clothes gets rid of bacteria faster

  • Use aldi 4kg powdee for $5. Came 5th place in choice front loader tests. Which is higher than many name brand products at 5x the price per kg

    • Aldi says it does 30 washes whereas this suggests 80 normal washes. There's barely any difference between in price between this and that powder.

    • +1

powdee is a better version of powder
