No, the processors in them are actually more than strong enough - my series 7 is still perfectly fast. But, the small battery means you put a full charge cycle into it every day so after 4 years my watch struggles to make it through the day if I'm out late.

Smart watches have tiny battery compared to phones. It's already on full throttle whenever possible. Power optimisation to the max. It's a technology wonder especially the cellular ones.

The EEG function stopped working after an update on my 7 (I'm not the only one). Starting about 2 weeks ago the login screen is doing ghost taps sometimes. It gets treated well. Was expecting a another year or 2 before replacing now I'm just hoping.

in Australia you need something like "number share", its usually an extra $5 on top of a postpaid plan thats with one of the big 3 telcos. You can't get this done with prepaid plans.
Yes. You also need a cellular model of watch. I have that on my Samsung, but wasn't sure if this model was cellular or wifi only (new to Apple world).

My 6 has been a workhorse. As someone with atrial fibrillation itās almost a āmust haveā for me. Iāll update when they bring out a newer version of the ECG otherwise I have no reason update.
I put mine on charge when I do my after work routine (change work clothes and start cooking dinner etc.) By the time I go to bed it is fully charged so I get the benefits of the sleep monitoring and it will lasts until I get home the following day. Your mileage may vary of course.
