I just checked the battery health of my S7; it is sitting at 79%. It will cost $169 to replace the battery.
I wonder sellling this S7 and buy a S11 or S12 in a few months of time may be a better idea.
What is everyone's opinion or experience?

Not sure if the WR fares any better but you can also get the pre cut adhesive from ali.
Buy a refurbed current or last gen from the Apple Store.
YMMV but I saw some reddit comments saying they don’t even other changing the battery, they just swap you to a series 8 refurb
Yes, it is not possible to replace an Apple Watch battery without breaking the water resistance, etc, nor is it practical, so they will just give you a whole unit replacement (usually a refurb S7/S8) for $169

here's a random seller for a 30 second search on aliexpress
use B7000 adhesive when reattaching the screen. it's not guaranteed to be waterproof. but as long you don't submerge the watch in liquid then you should be fine.
