Seems pretty cheap for an oled to me. Not sure about reviews and only 180hz but could be a solid entry into oled

$394.52 delivered with 5% off first purchase - not sure about other coupons and stacking

Thanks @hsp - can get another 5% code from chat which brings total down to $375.55 delivered if stacking with 5% first purchase

Edit: Back in stock

On my side I'm getting $399.50 delivered, and $379.52 with the 5% first purchase discount.

    • Even better mine seemed to charge $15 flat rate to sydney post code for shipping

      • Ah my bad, there is no free delivery, I'm still getting the $15 rate like yourself.

Good price, but just be aware it has a matte screen, 200 nit brightness and is only hdmi 2.0 so at 1440p you can only get 144hz.

    • +6

You can get DP1.4 through a firmware update and get 1440p 180hz

    • +1

The matte screen is perfect for bright room with natural light. firmware update 1st thing to do and set it to 180hz.

      • Bright room? the monitor is only 200nits and in a bright room a mini led monitor would be better. someone else in the comments posted a video explaining this

Review for this monitor. Main issue addressed was “black raise” specific to QD-OLED.

    • thanks for that, I learned something new to lookout for!

  • I got G60F QHD 350Hz for $441.93, but it can't use 5% first purchase discount

I have one of these that I bought in Dec for $595 on this deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/939994

Its a solid screen that I have no complaints on, so at this price even better!

  • What's the peak brightness of this monitor? 200 nits in SDR, but what about HDR? This monitor also seems to have a matte coating, and with it's 200 nits max brightness, I think it will have trouble if you have a "light" in your room and the blacks on the screen will look kind of purple.

    • 1000 nits peak HDR brightness, most likely

And yeah you ideally want a dark environment, but still quite usable during daytime

      • I hope it does have 1000 nits HDR, the only thing it said on the Samsung website, was that it's HDR10.

        • But peak brightness such a useless metric.

You can peel off the coating if you're game..

Bought with edu store at about $375, 5% first order discount + chat gives another 5% off 😉

    • +2

you just ask for it in the support chat?

edit: got it for 375 delivered. I had to send them a picture of an existing samsung product to prove 'loyalty' 😂. lucky i have a samsung tv already

      • Good price, got mine in March above $400, so this is ATL.

        • hell yea! How do you like it?

          • @n00t: The best, its matte screen, no glare, no reflection, much better than my 15yo LCD.

            • @RTX9090Ti: do you use it for work? Im a bit concerned about burn in. But yes, will be a huge upgrade over my 10yo VA panel

              • +1

@n00t: its only $400, 3 years warranty. just think of it like $100ish per year running costs.

  • OOS

  • Looks to be back in stock (Preorder) Ships From 5th May

  • I received this monitor today. First time use OLED monitor but very disappointed. The image colour/quality is worse than my current ROG strix IPS monitor. Is that normal?

    • Please give the ROG strix IPS monitor to me. haha

  • This is really tempting for me, I’m looking on getting triple monitors for my simracing setup.

The Gov EPP price for this with the loyalty voucher is $360 each, so I can buy 3x for not much more than I paid for a single AW3425DW.

It does have the specs of an entry level OLED monitor and it also has a matte coating but it’s hard to do better at this price.

  • Solid deal.

Really wanting a 32 or 34" FLAT gaming monitor, decent sales on them are few and far between

    • currently looking for a 32" or 34" Flat OR Curved for about $600-700 but all I'm seeing is $1000 ball park for similar specs 32-34" whereas a 27" is half the price…..

      • Harsh isn't it?
I'm wanting one sooner than later, would drop up to $900 but ideally mid 800s
