I take mine with milk and honey.

Is this good, like, wholemeal home-baked bread? Just want some more options for breakfast.

In terms of macros it's fine, just be aware that due to the processing method it's medium to high GI, which gives a bigger blood sugar spike compared with unprocessed whole wheat, porridge, or your wholemeal bread.

I never realised it's high GI. I spike really easy and stopped having sugar with them. Perhaps it's time to cut them down altogether.

  • How many 1/2 price deals at Woolworths this week?

  • Still waiting for Pic's half price.

I'll send you pics for half price.

Such a shame the stopped making the organic weetbix

    • Agreed! That's all I'd ever buy. There's really no other organic & affordable cereal available anywhere.

I've switched to oats which is healthier (although even organic often features glyphosate residue) and cheaper, so probably for the best.

Overnight Weetbix is my go to thing - so easy to make and tastes like healthy cheesecake and customisable so you don’t get sick of it

    • Any good recipes u recommend?

    • Also been thinking of doing this lately as a fellow daily Weetbixer. What's the go to and the process?

    • Agreed, my breakfast most days now

    • How does it compare to overnight oats?

  • Wait, weren't these $2.20 a couple months ago? I remember getting around 6 boxes in Dec for $2.20 each.
    That's a 13.6% increase!

But my pay hasn't gone up even 4%. Looks like I'll have to eat half less wheet bix in my cereal.

    • Be happy…..your money is going to a good cause and pumped back into the community (via the church).
      Sanitarium don't pay tax.
