No process you buy on JP eshop with JP account and run the game with your JP account
You can have multiple profiles logged in
For payment I buy gift cards from Amazon JP, seemed like the quickest way.

I highly recommend just using your main for all purchases and switching back as long as you spend all the money In credit you get from the gift cards.

in posts I found long time ago they suggested to create a seperate account for it, dont remember why anymore sorry.

If the switch you want to play on is linked as primary to the Japanese account, you should be able to play it with any account/profile

Your gift card balance will be wiped when changing country, so a new account for each country is preferred

Nope you need to spend all the money in the account before you switch. If you have money left you have to contact Nintendo and they will wipe the money and switch it back which is a bad idea. Just buy a 1000 yen card and buy another 300 yen game and you are set. I think a separate account for games isn't preferred imo. I have been doing this on my main for ages

If you can find a 300 yen game you want to play before the next deal in another country comes up, that's optimal. But having trawled through the eShop trying to find non-slop to use up my balance, it can be hard.

Buy a 1000 yen gift card from Amazon JP and switch your region to japan and then add this game to cart with another game that costs 300 yen and then pay and switch back. You have to make sure you spend exactly the amount of the gift card

What process needs to be followed in order to ultimately get this onto your Australian account?
