Hey guys,

After the positive response to my last post, I'm bringing back the free lifetime premium promotion up till 31st of May so more of you can give the game a go (and because my girlfriend pointed out I posted last time at 11pm on a Sunday, i.e. when half of OzBargain is asleep, oops)

Quick recap for anyone new: Anaduel is a multiplayer word game where you have 60 seconds to find as many words as possible from the 6, 7, or 8 letters you're dealt. Currently iOS only.

No ads. No third-party trackers. No location data.

What's new since last time:

* 20,000+ games played worldwide

Massive thanks to all the OG players from the last OzBargain post (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/953843) who downloaded and stuck around. Your feedback shaped a lot of what's new above.

Game modes:
* Single Player
* Daily Challenge — same letters for everyone, fresh each UTC midnight, global leaderboard
* Multiplayer (free 1v1) and Party (up to 6):
* Normal — everyone vs everyone, highest score wins
* Steal — claim a word before anyone else
* Shuffle — letters change every 20 seconds across 3 rounds
* Co-op — team mode (3v3, 2v4, 5v1)

How to claim:
1. Download from the App Store
2. Tap "Sign in with Apple" on first launch
3. If premium isn't visible immediately, pull down on the main menu to refresh.
4. That's it - Accounts created before 31 May 2026 23:59 UTC get lifetime premium automatically - normally a $3.99 AUD one-time IAP.

Premium unlocks:
* Party Rooms (4 modes) play with 1–5 friends. Only the host pays; guests join free.
* Word Definitions - tap any word in any mode (daily challenge, single player results, streak calendar, and multiplayer results) to see its meaning
* Sparring Bots - add bots with easy/medium/hard difficulty
* Advanced Stats - graphs, trends, detailed performance insights

    It would be nice if the letter tiles were just a little bit bigger. I’m on an iPhone 17 and in the first few games I was mistyping.

      Something to do with the layout? I know the 8 letter one can be changed

      If you were playing with 8 letters, you can try tapping the “switch layout” button on the top left of the letter tiles mid game, it should increase their size by placing the tiles across 2 rows. Beyond that, making the tiles any larger would likely cause them to extend off the screen..

      If you have any preferred 8 letter tile layout you would want to see in the future, I'm open to suggestions :D

        I don’t think the layout can be changed during the Daily Challenge.

          Yeah the layout switcher's disabled during the Daily. It was really only built for 8-letter games, where cramming 8 tiles in one row would push them below Apple's button size guidelines (hence the 2x4 option).

          The Daily's only 7 letters so it fits in one row on most phones without shrinking below that.

          But thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely consider adding it as an option in a later update though.
