I think its an Optus thing, when i was Japan there was no line (for Onepass and Amaysim). But elsewhere like HK or Singapore its all good

never tried lyca, but the amount of hate for them on here has put me off ever wanting to try them even if heavily discounted.
I switched to Lyca and it is working great so far. The process was quick too.
I paid $249 with $30 shop back at Costco for Boost 5G 300gb, so $219. If you want to go povo try a Kogan 900gb yearly deal for $199 with Vodafone network. I run Boost on eSIM and use the Kogan when large data is required via Sim 1. Not always on 24/7 as it kills battery fast on S25U.
I'd go Boost>Coles>Kogan in that order.
