🧑‍🌾 Why this exists
This is a non‑core blend for us - not a flagship, just honest, well‑made McLaren Vale red that we’d rather move on at a sharp price than sit on. If you like smooth, balanced reds for BBQs, midweek dinners, or keeping a six-pack on hand, this does the job comfortably.

  • Thanks Richard
Been having a bit of a self imposed dry spell but will give these a whirl
Heads-up text has the wrong code :)

    • @avinit86 Welcome back from the dry-spell - thanks for the heads-up - the downside of me writing the text not during a dry-spell ;-)
      Thanks and enjoy! Richard :-)

  • I quite liked this wine (and it was slightly cheaper 🤑). How does this deal compare to it?

    • @igorekh
ah yes, that did move quickly!
This is the next vintage (2024) of that wine, doing a very similar job stylistically.
The blend’s tweaked slightly and it’s seen a bit less time in oak, so it’s a touch fresher and a little more mid‑weight, but still very much in that smooth, easy McLaren Vale red blend zone.
Price‑wise it’s comparable if you’re ordering 12 bottles this time around.
      Cheers! Richard :-)

  • Thanks Richard. How does this compare to the 2022 Family Reserve Red Blend? I'm enjoying a glass now (it's a lovely drop).

    • @Ak850 oh this one and the 2023 are upgrades on the 2022. Better fruit. You’ll be pleased with the ‘24 if you’ve enjoyed the 22 :-)

      • Thanks Richard. Ordered. Looking forward to it.

        • Nicely! Enjoy :-)
