Quilton Tuffy 4 Ply Paper Towel 3 Pack also $3 at Woolworths + Bonus Cookware Credit.

    • Ohhh how good, you can sort by bonus credit !

    • Thanks! Rather buy from Woolies bc of the bonus credit

      • 10% cheaper at amazon though

        • +1

Yup, but ms and I are collecting the points during our normal shops

        • -1

          No it’s not? $25 for 24 rolls normal price (+4%), $22.50 s&s (-6%)

    • Is it 1 bonus credit per pack?
So if I buy 10 packs I get 10 credits?

      • +1

Max three bonus per brand per shop:

There is a limit of three (3) Bonus Cookware Credits per Participating Brand per Qualifying Shop.
This means that in the example above, if an Eligible Member purchases four (4) products from a Participating Brand as part of their Qualifying Shop, they will only receive three (3) Bonus Cookware Credits.

        • So purchase 3 per transaction?

          • @siemic: Yep, but you have to spend at least $20 to trigger the credits.

            • @RichardL: Oh thank you so we can buy 3 per transaction and minimum spend $20.
So we get 4 credits for that transaction 1 standard and 3 bonus.

The Double Length (Amazon) is actually slightly cheaper ($1.00 vs $1.04), and less hassle.

      Deals always in the comments

    • But will it fit in my holders?

    • +2

Why is a 41% discount on 24 rolls, more expensive than a 6% discount on double length rolls?

Is it simply to suck me into a subscription?

Quilton / Amazon seemed to do a shift a few years back, where these smaller Absorba paper towels will always seem to often delaminate. Whereas I get the same (?) product from my local IGA, and they are perfect and equivalent to the Tuffy brand. So now I get the Double Length Absorba ones from Amazon, and they have likewise always been perfect for me. Not sure what's going on with Quilton and/or Amazon consistently getting worse stock for the regular sized paper towels.

  • How does it compare to Handee Ultra?

    • +1

      Handee sucks

      • Can confirm. Handee and Viva have gone downhill in quality

        • +1

They were never that good. Even the Woolies brand beats them.

This stuff clumps when it gets wet. I find Handy and especially Viva don't, you can wring out a Viva and it keeps it's structural integrity.

Quilton stuff is like giant toilet paper and bits break off when it gets wet.

      • +1

I haven't had that with Quilton Tuffy paper towels.

        • Is there a difference between "Absorba" & "Tuffy"?

          • @mathew42: Tuffy is made just for Woolies if I'm not mistaken, and Absorba for Amazon. Supposed to be the same, but I've been disappointed with the Absorba range previously with their sheets not being bonded together properly, so I had stray single ply paper towels coming off. Not sure if it was just a batch issue or an ongoing thing, as I hadn't purchased it in a while.

      • Definitely never had that problem with Tuffy. They can be wrung dry without issue for me.

  • Back in stock.
