I was excited to see Hot Rod in the headline, only to be disappointed that they substituted the second rod for the tender. Damn you shrinkflation.
The tenders at my nearest kfcs are the same size as nuggets.

Ever since they introduced the new version (600ml, no chips), and the ridiculously long code it generates, I've not had a single store actually take the code, or the minimum spend. I'll grab a Slurpee for the missus or something and flash a screenshot of the email for a 600ml for Dylan no worries.
They workers never use the code but some check the email date.
^ This is my experience to a tee. I don't think the code is even functional with the POS, it's a bluff.
