  • Bugger, just ordered Apple Crumble.

    • Morning @scottb721 no stress on that front, simply open your order confirmation email, click the "edit of view your order" button and make any needed changes up until the day before dispatch or you're welcome to send a reply email to your order confirmation requesting we make the change for you :)

      • Thanks but just received it today. Next time :)

  • no updates on the grinder?

    • Hey @Exorcist I believe we've emailed everything who ordered an update, but if you have any more question you're welcome to send a reply email to your order confirmation :)

  • Thanks for putting the decaf on sale. Swiss pure water FTW!

    • Hey @Naigrabzo woohoo amazing to hear, thank you so much for the fantastic order!!!

  • Digging the Vietnamese beans. First time I've ordered the same beans back to back.

    • Hey @Miso WOW absolute music to my ears, it's one of my all time favourites too!

Thank you so much for another terrific order, it really does mean a lot :)

  • Are you guys going to bring back the Guatemala El Durazno beans?

See they no longer show up on the site :(

    • Hey @madgasser we got the same question for an in-person customer just yesterday!

We purchased and sold all available stock in Australia. We're working on securing more, but if successful it won't get to Australia for a few months. In the meantime I'd recommend trying our Colombia Cauca Single Origin to tie you over :)

  • The wholesale price of coffee beans is now back down to the price it was in late 2024, having spent much of 2025 ~40% higher. Why are we not seeing deals back in the $20's? (like this one below, which incidentally talks about the forthcoming prices rise and is from late 2024).

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/880635

Chart below shows the wholesale coffee price - (click the 5 year view to get the full picture).

    https://tradingeconomics.com/commodity/coffee

Cumulative Australian inflation in the same period has been roughly 7%, so that's not a major cost drive.

    • Hey @atwilliams always better to ask than wonder!

To be honest I'd be astounded if you see the 2024 prices again not just for coffee but a lot of other household staples. The chart movements provide trend indications, but don't paint the full picture. To give you an idea, we've done out best to subsidise our cost increases where possible, so we haven't passed on all increases we've experienced to customers. Alot of other factors increase related to coffee and most of which don't decrease with time e.g. wages at origin and in Australia have both gone up since 2024; friegh this year along has gone up a lot, earlier this year it would cost an importer $800 to ship a container of coffee to Australia, not it costs over $1,500; we source specialty grade coffee so the price you see on those charts isn't what we pay, there's that price on the charts (in USD, which eventually needs to ge converted to AUD, which incurrs a cost), then each country has a differentional to add, then the farmers/coops can hold out for more if they think the price will go up (you used to be able to lock in pricing for a year plus, but when pricing went up 6 months was the very max with negotiations), then the exporter margin, importer margin, interest kn financing, hedging (which varies depending on importer method) storage, insurance on credit terms where possible…

The vast majority of coffee beans sold in supermarkets (generally lower quality due to margins and volume requirements) is sold as a loss leader and most mainstream coffee is still $60+ per kg there.

Wish I had better news for you. That said I think the price increases at origin are a good long-term thing for the coffee industry, I just think it would have been better for a less sharp increase short-term. We'll continue to do our best to keep our coffee as a high value for money proposition :)

    • This is still some of the cheapest fresh roasted coffee around. I almost feel bad for how affordable it normally is but I won’t complain :)

  • I'm guessing Colombian SO is the go? I bought the Vietnamese SO instead for the novelty of trying something new. Never tried quality beans from Vietnam, only ever had presumably Robusta in Vietnamese Hot/Ice coffees etc.

    • Hey @h3rbz both coffees are so delicious in my humble opinion :)

I'm wrapped to know you're giving something new a try and it'll be wildly different to Viet Robusta. Thank you so much for your terrific order, hope you love it!!!

  • Got 3 x Apple Crumble 1KG's as it's reviewed quite highly. Got a new machine and chewing through Beans so not a bad opportunity to stock up. Any feedback on freezing a bag or two?

    • Hey @OzBerghainer how amazing to hear, I'm so wrapped feedback from our terrific customers caught your attention!!!

Thank you so much for your outstanding order, it's truly appreciated :)

Great question, you're all good to freeze the extra until you need it to keep it nice and fresh

  • Bought, thanks!

    • Amazing, thank you so much @31mop :)

  • Any chance of opening up the dispatch dates past 30/06/26?

    • Hey @dhdao1 never hurts to ask!

I'll open it up as soon as I can, but it won't be via this deal as it's too early to know the team's availability. What you can do is place an order now for dispatch 30/6 and closer to the dispatch date when more dates open up simply self edit your dispatch date :)

P.s. the only coffee you won't be able to delay further beyond 30/6 via post purchase edits is our Vietnam SO as there's no a whole lot still available to reserve

      • Thanks for letting me know and giving me a workaround, fantastic customer service! I was just curious because I usually have my coffee for the next 6 months through your delayed dispatch.

  • Bought moreod the Columbian, it's the only one I can seem to dial in on my oracle touch. Good job it makes a fantastic long black!

    • Hey @Willyeckerslike thank you so much for another fantastic order and that terrific compliment, it really does mean a lot!

Please always feel welcome to send a reply email to your tracking info email with any dialing in queries :)

  • Wish the Thank You Blend was on sale too

    • Duly noted @haliloo of the coffees featured in the deal I have a hunch you'll really enjoy our Apple Crumble Blend :)

  • Damn free shipping threshold gone up. still got enough from black friday, hopefully some crazy EOFY deals coming that will rival those.

    • Hahah true. However it's only one coffee worth for shipping. $7. Hell sometimes my coffee is more expensive because it's mocha latte almond with stevia in plastic free mug.

  • Hey Lime Blue

Can you get some new single origin blends that are processed naturally and anaerobically?

Want to try some new range of flavours !

  • Any recommendations for some who prefers a darker, richer roast?

    • Hey @onesandtwos appreciate you taking the time to reach out!

If by darker you're after notably bitter then we may not be the best fit for you. However, if by darker you are just after a more chocolatey coffee AKA a coffee that tastes more like a coffee than a hot fruit juice, then I'd highly recommend either our Moments to Memories Blend or our Brazil Single Origin :)

  • Keep hearing good things mentioned so will give it a go. Went with Apple Crumble (I didn't even read the info you sold me with the name :p) and some of the Columbian single origin. Thanks OP.

    • Hey @Osiris how amazing to hear, thank you so much for such a terrific combo order and your "…sold on the name" comment made me laugh, so thank you for that too!!!
