    • Buffet breakfast for 4 people included for each night of stay booked. Basically for each person staying there

        • +15

You asked how many and the answer was "the maximum amount" (every day for every person) and you come back with it being expensive… Guess your mind was already made up.

    + Buffett Breakfast

    LOL

    Good deal for Warren

    • +3

And Jimmy would have loved it, too.

    • Warren only eats McDonalds for Breakfast…

      Two sausage patties only = market down;
Sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit (like our McMuffin) = market flat; or
Bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit = market up.

And somehow he is still living at 95 … probably because he kept working and his mind active until 94

Mind you… he did once own 4.3% of McDonalds and sold it for over USD$1.3bn.

I've booked into another place and was looking to get a 3 day pass (only need 2 days) to the parks. Its $159 per person. Am I correct in saying that if I book 1 night with Seaworld I get access to the parks for 2 days. Do I need to actually check into seaworld accomodation lol

    • +1

Check in, get your pass and have breakfast

Last time I got the deal, you get theme park entry for arrival day and departure day.. I presume nothing has changed.

But you don't get breakfast arrival day per Dollar General's comment.

You can enter Seaworld from the resort so might as well tell them you are checking in then whenever you want to move on check out.

I did this in USA at a theme park with a Hotel deal - we visited in the morning and returned a car to the concierge as they had a car hire / return desk, put luggage in storage with the desk, got our theme park passes early, used the complimentary transport to the park gate, and in the evening after park closure we used the complimentary transport back, visited the room for a look and used the bathroom, complimentary tea/coffee/cookies, used the games room and walked around the pool etc … then we got our things and took a bus to a nearby apartment hotel for the night, where we had separate rooms, cooking and laundry facilities, which suited us better (but we returned to theme park to uses passes the next day for the cost of a 1 night stay that was cheaper). Our apartment had a minimum length stay for the deal so wasn't worth swapping two places and we were staying there for a week at a lower per night rate to see other attractions)! It worked out fine.

We booked a similar deal on paradise country farm stay but actually stayed elsewhere. Would just go there for breakfast sometimes and no questions asked. We used to get our tickets each morning via email, no issues whatsoever.

    • The gate would be closed after staff hours or from 6pm or 8pm from memory, so we need to leave before that. Don't think we got an access code/card last time. Can't confirm as we didn't stay either.

And I think Paradise would offer free breakfast on day 1 if we had arrived in time. For the stay people, just drive straight to back reception. The front reception is more likely to open after the breakfast.

  • Short answer is Yes, you can certainly do that as it's still cheaper than buying entry tickets otherwise

  • +1

Just keep in mind that even though it's great to wake up and have Seaworld right there and it is close to the coast, SeaWorld is located about 30 - 40 minutes away from the other theme parks that's included with the tickets.

So unless you have a car, you'll be spending $60-$70 per trip to see the other parks. And it's not as easy to get public transport from SeaWorld's location to the other ones.

So you have to balance what's more important, being close to the beach or close to the other theme parks

not true. We stayed at Grand Hyatt, which is 1 bus stop distance away from sea world. We went to wet and wild and movie world using only tram and bus. Didn't take very long, maybe 30min each way. Only time we used uber was to the airport.

      • How did you get to Movie world?

        • +2

Get the tram to helensvale then there’s an express bus to movie world. Think was same bus to wet and wild too just one extra stop.

    • Didis aren't too expensive to get their either

    • +1

Just got back today from Sea World Resort. Walk to the bus stop was about 12 mins. Fares are 50c a trip. We were there for 5 nights and we just got used to it. Direct bus to Broadbeach or Pacific Fair. Transferred from Pacific Fair to the airport no problem. If you're an Ozbargainer, it's a small price to pay.

  • What if we have one more kid < 2 years?

    • +8

You probably don't have much energy….

      • +5

We will just go to the park near our home.

    • I guess they used to charge an extra $85 but that's only for One additional child making it 5 people in a room max. You can do so by calling on their phone number. But that's about it. If you have 6 family members you gotta book two seperate rooms. Hope it helps..

    • +2

When our first was a baby we'd book hotel rooms and not mention having a baby with us as we'd bring out own cot and food anyway. Never had anywhere bring it up as a problem. Prob not the right thing to do… But yeah 😅

      • Yep same. It was ridiculous to have to pay extra for an infant not using the facilities.

  • Do you get entry to theme parks upon checkin? Since checkin is 3pm, you cant really get to anything other than seaworld and it closes at 5pm.

    • We did this deal last year. You get your ticket the morning of checkin so you can head to the parks before checking into the resort

      • So its the day of checkin and the day of checkout. So 2 days minimum with 1 night stay correct

  • +5

If I remember correctly you can come leave your luggage with them at the reception in the morning and go inside the park, then come back later to secure the keys. You can enter and exit the parks as you like and as many times as you want, using the same ticket. Hope it clears it up a little

  • We paid $271 per night April last year i believe

    • Yeh, this level of inflation is a b1tch!

    • With breaky?

      • Yessir

        • 254 night for me last year

          • @leeroys_dad: Actually that's familiar.
I had to change dates after booking and had to pay extra

  • We paid 700 last year for two nights in a deluxe queen. Man that was a great deal. Same room is 620/night

    • 620 can get a luxury room from in the CBD easily

    • Does one need to use a different link for that?

  • What a good deal for Queenslanders..

  • Whats included in the breakfast?

  • Not sure if there is still a deal for a campsite from $159 then get a room for another $200. Maybe fit better for some.

  • "We’re excited to announce that we’re undertaking major renovations at Paradise Country Farmstay to elevate our guest experience into the future and as a result, accommodation will be temporarily unavailable from 27 January 2026.

During this period we invite you to explore our accommodation options at Sea World Resort, while we share updates on these exciting changes and look forward to welcoming you back soon."

  • I seem to be seeing the same price for this Sea World Resort deal (Double room $349/night) when booking through Qantas hotels and includes double Qantas points at present (6 points per $1 spent. offer ends Sunday 31 May):
Luxury Holidays Offer with Theme Park Pass inclusions of daily breakfast:
    https://www.qantas.com/hotels/properties/7526?adults=2&check…

Some of the higher rate rooms actually seem cheaper than via Sea World (i.e. deluxe Queen room 2 nights via Qantas is $938 vs Seaworld $1122). unless Im getting my maths wrong which is very possible.

Qantas booking also seems more refundable up to a point, via Sea World - nonrefundable.

Also great if you have a Qantas Hotels Voucher to use from Qantas Point Club etc.

Please correct if I'm wrong on any point.
