  • This one is insane. No minimum cover spend amounts!!

    • Last year this promo also had 6 weeks free & 2 & 6 months waiver.

      $600 is basically 6 weeks premium…

      Definitely better elsewhere

      • Post the better offers…

        • Right now… probably medibank via finder.

          6 weeks + $300 giftcard from finder + $300 in giftcards from Medibank (based on Family cover).

          • @tunzafun001: But you need to maintain policy till 30th Oct to get $300 giftcard from finder

            • @EssendonUser: Is Oct 30 the eligibility confirmation date, or card delivery date.
              Many get these mixed up.

              • @tunzafun001: I am split between Bupa and Medibank/finder offer as well. Oct 30, is the eligibility date, so longer hold period for that is required.

                • @s0805: Bupa seems to have more controversies compared to Medibank.

  • My couple monthly premium is $192 so profit of $200 after 2 months.

    • same here, as long as you can cancel exactly around the 60th day… if you do fortngihtly you might end up being unlucky and needing to pay for an extra fortnight?

  • Damn I just joined 2 days ago. Does it have free weeks? The one I joined had 6 weeks free

    • No free weeks.

    • Exercise your 14 day cooling off then start again

      • Actually I think it might even be a 30 day cooling off period

      • but I joined with EDR previous offer that finished 13 may: collect up to 135,000 points.

  • Nice! I assume the extra balances get transferred?

  • are we better off paying fortnightly, monthly or quarterly if you don't typically maintain PHI cover?

    If you can get a prorata refund maybe quarterly is better since you might only pay for the exact amount of days used?

    If paying fortnightly/monthly maybe you might end up needing to pay for 5 fortnights or 3 months?

    • Read the FAQs and your question will be answered

      • No mention of any fees, I don't have PHI so I don't know if you normally have the policy paid up in advance or you typically pay for what you have already used
        I guess it doesn't matter if you pay fortnightly, quarterly if you can get a prorata refund regardless.

        FYI PureVPN is 120% today on TCB US but cbf posting today, I imagine it might go to 130% tomorrow as that's what happened last time I posted.

        • Right. Yeah not sure about any admin fees if you cancel. I will check with them next week before I sign up.

          Bugger. I already did PureVPN USA not long aho. I'll wait before doing it on our other account.

  • I left Bupa 6 months ago. What is the condition for past customers for this offer?

    • Read the T&C and your question will be answered

      • Read it. 60 days me thinks

  • Am i able to buy this policy in addition to my existing and keep my existing?

    I know i can’t claim against both etc but would be great if i can join for the points then leave.

    Has anyone had any experience with this?

    • Interested to know.! Lmk

    • You can as long as you dont apply medicare rebate. You can only have rebate to one phi

  • I missed the previous deal where they were offering free weeks plus EDR points, but this one isn't too bad either!

  • Will this work with corporate plans?

    • The Everyday Rewards Offer is not available to any customers attached to a Corporate Group Plan or Offer, including employees [or contractors] of Bupa, or any other Bupa Group company.

      • If only these corporate types could read.

  • Cashback still applies if we go through shopback?

    • Can't hurt to try, bug typically promo code usage results in unapproved cashback

    • The Everyday Rewards Offer is not available with any other promotional join offer.
      The Everyday Rewards Offer is not available if you join through a price comparator.

  • New to the health insurance churning game, if we're currently with AHM, and switch over to BUPA with this deal, do all our relevant waiting periods roll over, or do they start again?

    • Waiting periods served carry over for any equivalent cover you have already held with the previous provider.

    • I haven't churned in years but just be aware AHM limits reset in July, whereas most other companies reset in January.

      I could be wrong but I think this means if you switch now, any limits from July 2025 to December 2025 will be reset (Or something like that haha)

  • Stay for 60 days and pay via direct debit

    Would they charge you for 3 months within this period?

    And does direct debit include credit cards, or does that mean bank account only?

    • Based on T&c you can get a prorate refund so I don’t think it matters how far in advance you pay

  • Anyone here has moved private health every 6 months by taking advantage the offer? say medibank to HBF to HCF to Bupa etc.

  • Just a warning they creep prices up really quickly for existing customers, every year I have to negotiate a lower rate.

    I’m paying around $400/mo for single gold ultimate when I could get gold without extras for $240 elsewhere. It would be $470 without my discounts. It does include unlimited general dental, but half the time the dentist refers you to an out of pocket specialist anyway… Even for root canals and extractions at times.

    Also may be better off with the 6 weeks free elsewhere, especially if you’re getting gold hospital and extras for a couple. Way bigger saving.

    • Are there any health insurance that does not increase price once a year?

  • I'm enjoying 10 free weeks from NIB ending 5th August. Does bupa allow delay start?

  • Get up to 10 weeks free*

    Join directly on combined hospital and extras products by 10 June 2026.
    We’ll even waive the 2 & 6 month waiting periods on extras!*

    Bupa 10 Weeks Free

    Every few weeks Bupa is putting out a new offer, this offer expires June 10.

    • . 10 weeks free applied over 2 years (3 years for annual payers. Should be a seperate deal? I did calculations for both. The EDR came out winning for me.

      • Yea, depends on your needs, 2 years not for churners, but gold cover for 10 weeks costs a lot more than $300/$600

        • Below is my health insurance history.

          Bupa #1

          Silver Plus Classic Hospital + FLEXtras 4 Standard 50
          * 27 Oct 2025 → 9 Feb 2026 (~105 days)
          * Paid: $1,096.94
          * Received: ~$700 Everyday Rewards
          * Net cost: $396.94

          Medibank

          Silver Plus Support Hospital + Essential Extras 60
          * 10 Feb 2026 → 2 Jun 2026 (~113 days)
          * Net paid after all promos/free weeks: $694.84

          Bupa #2 (planned)

          Silver Plus Classic Hospital + FLEXtras 4 Standard 50
          * 2 Jun 2026 → 1 Aug 2026 (60 days)
          * Premiums: ~$658.24
          * Promo: $600 Everyday Rewards
          * Estimated net cost: ~$58.24

          Total:
          • 27 Oct 2025 → 1 Aug 2026 (~278 days)
          • Total net health insurance cost: ~$1,150
          • Effective cost: $4.14/day ($126/month)

          My gut feels I save ~$2500+/year by churning.

      • With 6 free free after 28 days, unless your fortnightly payment comes around $200, EDR points offer is better in comparison.

  • Hi guys, would anyone know if I join bupa health insurance before 8th of July 2026 but start the health cover from 8th of August 2026, would i still be eligible for the EDR bonus points?

    • I'm reading this as "join by" 8 July not "start by".

      I'm same boat as you.

    • I just asked on chat. They said as long as you sign up before 8th Jul and your cover starts before 8th August then you'll still get the points.

      • Oh perfect, thanks for finding out

      • Do you know if 8 August is the absolute latest to have it start?

        I joined HBF with the recent promo but might need to stay until mid-August to have the deal fulfilled.

  • Signed up… $10/m more than what I'm paying for AHM, but worth it. Thanks OP!

  • Nearest equivalent to my medibank hospitals cover is $24/month extra. Also need to pay $41/month for extras cover. Over 2 months, paying $130 extra for the $600 EDR dollars.
    Good acquisition strategy for those that don't just churn, but otherwise definitely not competitive.

  • Are these codes unique? In my Woolies Rewards app, code is different than OP's?

    • Yea, mine is REWARDS120

    • With these offers it's normal for Everyday Rewards to advertise one code and Bupa another. It's likely just their way of knowing which company brought in which customer.

      • thanks. leaning to this deal compare to medibank through finder. As this seems quick and easy churn. what's the validation between EDR acct and health policy, i mean names need matching etc…or just entering reward number is enough.

  • Hmm, just got a medibank offer from Finder for $300 + $300. Now I need to crunch numbers…

    • Good reminder - I have a $500 HBF offer on mine.

  • I called them up. They gave me a call back. I discussed all my concerns and queries. I got the cover I wanted. I paid for exactly 60 days as well with a start happening on 2nd Aug 2026. The customer service person was super nice. Thank you.

    • Start happening on 2nd June. Ends on 2nd aug when Likely look to churn again

  • Signed up online without any issues. Promo code was entered on sign up but nowhere it asked for member number. Hoping they can validate the promotion went through for $600 worth of points.

  • For anyone who took this $500 HBF offer through BUPA, you'll need to stay till 14th August to get the gift card.

  • If I get the points within 30 days —— can I just switch to another insurance
