Why buy this landfill? Search in aliex for "3 aa to d adapter", and use all your eneloops / laadas.
Handy to have a few around to tie you over until aliex delivers. At $1 for a 3-pack it's only 33c each compared to ~$1.50 per adapter.
That's because one day you'll find that random gadget that uses C/D batteries and you wish you have those batteries, but right now you don't want to spend $6 for 4 adapters. (Aliex listings typically only sell 4-packs)
And if you do want to run that gadget long-term you might start thinking about USB rechargeable C/D cells, instead of using those adapters.
So what is the voltage difference in duration of 3AA in a D adapter?
Sort of same question for the AAA to AA adapter.
The adapters wrap around the smaller batteries to create the larger sizes. They work passively, hence produce no voltage difference. They upsize one battery, rather than 3 AA as suggested. However, the chemistry in Eneloops only output 1.2V when charged, which is less than the 1.5V from standard AAA/AA/C/D batteries. You’ll need to try to see whether the voltage difference affects the device’s operation.
On your last comment I’d suggest using AA batteries over converting up AAA, as smaller batteries have lower capacity.
