[PC, Epic] Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Edition $31.90 Includes Night Springs and Lake House Expansions @ Epic Games

470

Alan Wake 2 is already a great horror game but Initiation 4 in was truly the best chapter/level I've ever played in the genre. If you haven't played this game by now, you really should!

If you are also intending to play Control Resonant, the sequel to Control, this game has some interaction with Dylan Faden in the Lakehouse DLC.

  • Excellent description 👌

  • Initiation 4 in was truly the best chapter/level I've ever played in the genre.

    Couldn't agree more.

    • I spoiled it for myself watching the VGA live performance of it…. but once I played the level for myself (late last year and twice more earlier this year), I thought it was one of the greatest video game sequences that I've ever played. And I'm not a total fan of the genre lol.

  • Had Baldurs Gate 3 not come out the same year this was released it would be GOTY for sure.

  • W A K E

  • Would anyone know where I can obtain the DLC for less than $31 for a base-game haver?

    • Fanatical $25 for DLC

    • Yeah I also have the base game and 31 seems a bit too much just for the DLC.

Edit: I already have the deluxe upgrade. Not sure why it shows that I can buy this too

      • I got the pc version during a sale a few months after release (price reduction PLUS Alan Wake Remastered as a bonus item). Jump forward to late last year, I finally played and enjoyed it….. to the point where the Xbox version was on sale…. so I purchased and played the story once again. Then it became available on PS+….. so I downloaded that bad boy and went through the story once again.

Despite all of that I've not done the DLC episodes, I might be tempted to now.

    • You can get the Deluxe upgrade for 70% off at the Humble store

  • brrrrrrrrr

  • Is it on Steam yet…

    • i thought epic put up the funding to help get it finished..

but i too would rather on steam

      • There also existed a time where the idea of having the Halo Trilogy or The Last of Us and Uncharted on Steam was just a shitty pipe dream.

It’s a matter of when, not if.

        • Let's hope it's sooner than the 25 years it took for Halo!

          • @poiterbad: It'll take the average Ozbargainer that long to finish their existing backlog.

            • @duckduckering: I’m still holding out hope that the Alan Wake franchise bundles name change in steam db is a sign it will be coming. Remedy should just create a remastered version and release on steam.

  • I love it.

  • Great game. Wish it came to Steam

  • Playing AW 1, not finished yet, but cant stop wondering if i am DiCaprio of shutter Island…and dont want any spoiler alert please
