Do I suck it up and just get a 5060 because the 5070ti prices are stupid?
Edit: Nevermind it’s FHD

Won't get many frames at 4k with a mobile 5060

This being FHD is a good thing, 5060 isn't great for qhd. If you want QHD display then get 5070ti

Although the SKU doesn’t match.. a tad bit cheaper here..

Cheaper and better.
The only difference between the 2 SKU's is the included power adapter.
Centre Com:
83JG00DXAU - 245W power adapterJB:
83JG00E0AU - 170W power adapterThe 170W actually isn't enough to power the device in some demanding games so even while plugged in you can still end up draining the battery and putting unnecessary cycles on it.

Unless you have stackable promos from JB I'd rather pay an extra $40 (after 15% $360 cashback) and get the Legion 5i with a decent res screen and better cpu and a $1 mouse addon.
https://www.lenovo.com/au/en/p/laptops/legion-laptops/legion…
Also the $110 Lenovo points aren't totally useless and will actually pay out cashback on an item you get for free. (but they do expire very quickly)

How would i get that 15% off?

(Educated guess…)
Top Cash Back run fairly regular 15% cash back - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/topcashback.com.au
It does take approx 4 months for the money to hit your account though…

Yesterday when deal was posted both cashback sites had 15% Lenovo. It's very common and usually the best way to buy Lenovo products.

Isn’t the LOQ the budget gaming laptop? I got a normal legion but 5070 for not much more with free monitor and bag so pretty sure can get a better deal.

I must've grabbed the same deal last September. Would've agreed at the time, but now I'm seeing the same legion 5 5070 approaching $4k!
This is an ok deal considering. Screen is meh, but it is a 1080p gaming machine and will perform well at that.- 0

Not bad, but I'd probably stretch ~$300 and get a Legion Pro 16 with OLED / similar specs when on sale if going for that 15.6 or 16 inch size
Or a Legion for the 15"
I paid $2381 for a similar specced legion pro with laptop bag and a 27 inch gaming monitor thrown into it 6 months ago Lenovo direct website and got some cashback on top
Sold the monitor for $150 or something like that too on Marketplace
That being said, I sold the Legion Pro now too and just spent 3.5k on a Zephyrus G14 for smaller compact / better battery life / speakers better
This isnt bad:

This I would say is definitely a better deal than the LOQ, yes its 24GB of Ram but definitely can be upgraded if needed

Yeah that is quite a good deal (for 2026)

I assume this has its own bulky power brick but if im travelling light and not gaming, can this be charged using 65W PD?
- 0

Has usb c charging, 65 will work but better off with 100 i would say

Great price. Something to note - you'll get a copy of 007 First Light game via redemption.
