Crazy price for a brand new working phone. I believe to unlock it you need to have spend $80 on Optus service or pay an $80 fee.

  • Burner phone sorted
    Thanks op

  • According to Google, this phone doesn't run Android, it runs a custom operating system called threadx.

  • How does this compare to the Motorola G55 for $157 with free buds?

    • It doesn't. Only thing it has in common is it makes phone calls

  • I went to check ram specs. Let's just say ram is not a problem

  • Wonder how it compares to Ruio F286 which is $37 at HN right now… unlocked and no need to pay Optus any money to unlock it off the Optus network.

    • Also $39 at TGG until 27 May, you can probably get them to price-match HN if the extra $2 is important.

According to TGG, it has 1500mAh battery, 50% more capacity.

No mention of a free starter kit at TGG.

  • Does this hotspot?

    • No, it does not have the hardware to support WiFi and Hotspot.

  • Can I use Amaysim SIM in this one? Same Optus network.

    • Yes you can

      • Legend. Thank you

        • I bought that Optus x mobile last year btw, locked to the Optus network.
Got my mate who’s with Amaysim to get me a free code which I used to unlock my phone.

  • Dam Sold out near me, anyone had any luck?

  • The user interface on cheap Chinese phones can be so effing infuriating. I'd steer clear.
