    Any good recommendations for a 3.5yr old? Ages are all 5 and up that i can see.

      Not to be mean, unless you're kid has a disability, can usually deduct a year or two off the average ages

      My son's got a disability, and at 5 could still do 7+ ones by himself once we helped him with his first few

          I also think at this age it's good to start with second hand stuff as long as comes with instructions

          Can get a lot more bang for buck and they kind of care less about what exactly they're getting

      My 3.5 year old and I just finished building the Bulldozer listed here. It comes in six bags, each was a session of building. He also plays with Duplo mostly by making cars and planes with the pieces.
      The age range for the City sets is mostly based on size. There is a dead zone for this age that Lego doesn’t take advantage of - all the 4+ kits are very small and basic. There are some more useful 5+ kits like the City Fire truck/rescue boat where in breaking the whole kit into three building sessions will create a truck, trailer and boat at each step.
      Also note that a smaller/lower age set will be easier for them/you to rebuild it when they break it down.
      At that age their dexterity is good enough for most general assembly, their limitation is their attention span.

    When you say scrape, code scrape or manual? If code, is there a way to scrape for vinyl deals, their search function is useless
