A comparison table of the Z60 and Z60 Pro can be found here with the main improvements being Sony STARVIS 2 sensors for better low light sensitivity and wider dynamic range, improved night vision quality, dual HDR in front and rear and 3K@60fps mode for the front camera. Like the Z60 this uses a super capacitor making it safe for summer and supports 3 channels so you can add the MINI2X QHD camera.

There are multiple bundles included on the page and this image shows you what's included in each. If you're ordering the more expensive bundles be sure to apply the appropriate coupons.

For the front-only bundle, paying in AUD causes the converted total to fall below the minimum spend required for the higher-tier coupon. To maximise savings, pay in USD using the guide below.

1 Channel Bundle (Front with Hardwire Kit)

  • If paying in USD: Apply the coupon AUAS13 at checkout (~A$78.55)
  • If paying in AUD: Apply the coupon AUAS06 at checkout (AU$86.63)

2 Channel Bundle (Front & Rear with Hardwire Kit)

For those paying in USD this is how you get the correct exchange rate in PayPal:

AliExpress trade in USD and setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results may result in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
  • Proceed with checkout

Now you'll get the correct MasterCard or VISA exchange rate.

  • Funny, without the hardwire kit option is more expensive in my case!

  • Got the Front & Rear with Hardwire Kit, thanks! Now to wait for a good deal on MicroSD cards…

    • There's a SanDisk HIgh Endurance 128GB for $49 at Centre Com
      https://www.centrecom.com.au/sandisk-high-endurance-128gb-uh…

      • This is what I currently have in my dashcam and no issues the past 3 years

      • I have this dashcam (front+rear with parking monitoring) and a 128GB card fills up too quickly. I recommend getting at least 256GB.

        • Don't you just need a recording of the moment of the accident? Why do you need a long recording capacity?

          • @pichxlonco: He must like slow tv. I have 128gb and it’s easily large enough

          • @pichxlonco: A few years ago I noticed damage on my rear bumper. After checking the dashcam footage, I found it actually happened three days earlier while the car was parked. So yeah, a large-capacity card is definitely worth having.

      • thanks! Price matched at JB and used a $10 perks discount + paid with an Ultimate gift card

  • Nice deal, good quality item - I have bought before for a relo and the build quality is excellent.

    • @Daniel Plainview @movieman

Know of any good reverse cameras with dual rear cameras (120 degree and 45 degree lense)?

Even better if it has front / sides (360) …

      Even better if wi-fi cam.. I think…

      Cheers

      • Sorry mate, I'm purely a 'buyer' when it comes to dashcams i.e mainly relying on the knowledge of other OzB sages. Cheers.

      • Look into WolfBox.
They have front and rear cameras, wifi, etc.
        Clip around your reverse mirror.
I got the 200$ version and it’s amazing. Great value for money.

        • Cheers

Any links to the Wolfbox with the dual reverse mirror (wide 120 for parking, 45 for seeing how far a car is behind you).

Looking for a rear view mirror replacement when towing objects that block the mirror.

Most reverse cams are 120 only, and no good for working out how far a car is behind you.

  • Bought previously.

Then installed another in a different car.

    Very good. Highly recommended.

At this price, it's a no brainer.

    • Noob question. Is it easy to DIY using the cig lighter port? Will it drain the battery?

      • Both setups are only working when the car is on (so cannot drain the battery).

If you hardwire it, then you'll need to mindful of your battery capacity, etc.

      • DIY using cigarette lighter port is extremely easy. Should not drain the battery if the cigarette lighter port doesn't stay powered when the car is off.

        • Thanks guys.

      • It depends on what car you have.

With my car, the cig lighter at the front always have power even if engine is off. Cig lighter in the centre console box does not have power if engine is off. I found out the hard way when my batt nearly went flat after about 10 days of not using the car.

  • Anyone know the fuse type for the hardwire kit?

    • Mini, but it is of no use, unless your fuse box has spare accessory and constant slots that you can utilise.

If you are going to use fuse tap, you will cut the fuse on the hardwire kit.

  • had one for over a year.
    works well, no complaints

  • Is it unavailable now?
Cant get it to ship to address?

    • I can get it to add to cart now however the coupon is not being accepted
Error "For security reasons your request can't currently be processed"

      • Figured it out - can only buy 1

        • I bought two in two separate transactions, used 2 different discount code on them, AUAS13 on first and AFFAU13 on second to get USD 9 discount each time. Topcashback tracked AUD 11.75 each time.

    • Just ordered one, worked fine.

  • Are these better than viofo?

    • I want to know as well

    • Quality is pretty on par but software lacks a little bit compared to Viofo but depending on the models they pretty much use the same sensor so just go w/e is cheaper

  • I got the Z50. Pretty happy with it.

Bought an obd kit because I can't hardwired to save my life.

  • been waiting for a starvis 2 cam either ddpai or viofo. Thanks for this. amazing price. i paid in usd direct on my CC since no fees so didn't do the paypal middle man and login etc. so much easier. ~80$ for this is excellent

    • Nice! How did you get that price? I paid using 28 degree, OzB team and coupon - and got it for $104. $15 cashback is now tracked in TCB.

      Edit: Nvm, I bought the 2-channel with h/w w/o 4G

  • Looks to be OOS?

    • Showing 65 available for 1 channel w/HW and 117 available for 2 channel w/HW

      • I'm getting this error 'One or some discounts from your original order have expired. Your total has been recalculated. Tap below to continue payment.'

It recalculates to US $167.23. Am I doing something wrong?

Also getting this error when trying to put in the coupon code 'For security reasons your request can't currently be processed'

        • Not sure, tried adding both options to my cart with the codes and it registered the discount. If you're trying to buy multiple, there was a comment above saying there's a limit of 1.

          • @BloodRanger: Only trying to get one :(

            • @mrboofle: Try using the alternate codes in the original coupon deal post

              • @BloodRanger: All good, I created a new account and it looks like it managed to go through with $119 for the 2CH w/ hw. Thanks!

    • Just ordered one, went through fine.

  • Is the 4G device necessary? It seems like there's might be a separate subscription fee for using that since it says "10GB free data for the first 30 days"..

    • You can use your own sim for cheaper data rates.

      • To access footage on the app, would I be able to connect the dashcam to house wifi instead? Or I'll only be able to access footage via MicroSD card if I don't buy the 4G device?

        • Yeah WiFi works fine, the 4G add on is really just used for remote location and remote viewing live. You can see saved videos from it.

        • your phone connects straight to the dashcam through an app so you can access the footage wherever you are as long as you have your phone with you

  • Paid 104.28 for 2 channel one. Thanks

    • 15.59 already tracked.

    • I Totally forgot to go through TCB 😒

      • Can you cancel and reorder?

        • thanks for suggesting. I cancelled. I got instant credit on aliexpress credit. Went through TCB to order again. Prices were jacked to $137. Tried couple times. Same results. So went through ozbargain deal link and ordered again with same price using Ali credit. It was Worth a try I guess

        • Just received message from TCB. it must have taken through got the order tracked for $15.58. Thanks heaps 🙏🏼

  • Thanks OP. Got 1

  • Thanks OP, bought for US$ 56.06, AU$ 11.75 tracked. Paid by PayPal with Wise (USD) at the backend.

  • Anyone notice that the price is higher when you go through top cashback rather than Ali directly?

    • Yeah. Weird

      • I just added to cart before clicking through TC to get the lower price. Tracked without a problem

        • Great. I usually add them to the wishlist and add to the cart from there when clicking though tcb. Sometimes they say its good to clear the cart for better tracking

          • @Techefy: Totally forgot about the wishlist option! Yeah I was worried about the cart not being empty but didn't see anything in the terms saying to clear it first

  • Not able to add to cart AliExpress, says can't ship to your address , selection Australia,,
How to add to cart pl

    • Try through a desktop browser.

    • Same. Tried on mobile and desktop

  • THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE 10% teams cashback!

refer to my last comment on this page https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/957634

    • Also i'd choose the 70mai T800E for $20 aud extra over this for a little more as it has front and rear passenger recording on 1 device

essentially identical specs with the added inbuilt rear camera 2 in 1

      https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007523418871.html?spm=a2…

      • The Z60 Pro sensor is much better than the T800E

    • You sound very upset in the other post about something that should be a bonus.

Assume you're not going to get the cashback and if you do it's a win. Works a lot better mentally that way

      • They are committing misleading and deceptive practices without notice!

Not just once but three times now!

The first time they changed the rules so that items purchased during promotion period but shipped after is ineligible (So sellers can screw the buyer by delaying postage).

The second time, they changed it so you only get the % cashback at the time of purchase even though the previous events they paid the % the team ended up with

Third time (now), quietly made it so only choice items have the cashback eligibility when previous times all products were eligible!
(I know this because the 7800x3d i bought which was eligible before is now no longer eligible)

They screwed a lot of people over, not just me!

    • BOOHOO! For the sale price I wouldn't hesitate to buy it! Been a happy experience for 2 of my vehicle.. previously had Ripoff Viofos that had died. Buying another of these..

      • I'm not saying these won't die…. But at $100 vs 300$ I'll sleep better

  • This uniden seemed like a pretty good buy, unfortunately didn't see this posted deal before pulling trigger on this https://uniden.com.au/collections/super-special/products/igo… Can I get experts thoughts on the uniden?

  • Paid $86.63 and tracked $12.73 cashback. Thanks OP

So my fuse box doesnt have spare accessory, this means my only options are to tap into existing wires or to utilize the ciggy plug, is that correct? Ive already checked and the ciggy plug is not live when the care is powered off.

    • The hardwire kit comes with two piggy-back adapters making it easy to tap into the fuse box.

  • Been using the Z60 Dual with the LTE module for about a year now, excellent product and for this price, this model is absolute bargain. I only wish DDPAI improve their app a bit, its getting there but really slow, and that promo splashscreen is $%#&#, anyway, amazing camera for just under 80 bucks.

  • Is the rear camera wired or wireless?

    • Wired

  • Sorry does anyone know how long the cable is if I want to connect using ciggie lighter port? I want to tuck the cables around the trims. Also it comes with BOTH the ciggie connection and hardwire connections right? Thanks.

    • The USB cable is about 3.5m long, it's included in the box.
The hardware kit is optional, you need to select it when ordering.

  • I got a 2 channels of z50 for around $160 twonyear ago. z60pro is a fair upgrade at this price. Thanks OP!

  • If I wanted someone to install a hardwired one for me,
    A) would they generally be willing to do that with one bought off Aliexpress?
    B) What kind of businesses do that?

    • Get an OBD hardwiring kit and you can install it yourself. YouTube has plenty of videos showing the process for most car models. The hardest part is usually wiring into the fuse box, but an OBD hardwiring kit avoids that altogether.

      • Is that OBD hardware kit a separate buy or is the hardware kit that comes with it (if bundle is chosen) an OBD kit? I'm confused.

        • It's a separate buy, if you buy from Amazon, it also includes the hardwire kit.

Wiring it up is for function is one thing, routing the wires neatly out of sight is another. It's usually straightforward for front only setup, but if there is a rear camera and for a car with tailgate (SUV, wagon, hatchback), routing the wire to the back can get tricky (unless you don't mind a dangling wire).

          • @browser: Thank you.for the info, I think the OBD kit would be a smart buy to keep things easier.

          • @browser: Wait, what? The hardwire kit sold together with the dashcam (in aliexpress link) isnt the ODB hardwire kit?

            • @CaptOblivious: No, that’s the fuse hardwire kit. For DIY installation, hardwiring to the fuse box can be a bit tricky for beginners, but with an OBD connection, it’s just plug-and-play.

              • @desibaba: I've been quoted $275 to get it installed, and I think the guy said to get the ODB kit too. If it's just plug and play, do you think I'll be able to do it despite the lack of tutorial for my specific car (sealion 8) on YouTube?

My worry is opening the car covers as I've not done that before.

                • @CaptOblivious: $275 is like 2 hours of labour, not justifiable if it is just for the front.

If you are getting the rear as well, to be installed on a tailgate, then may be reasonable. Can be a lot of work to route the wire along with factory wiring loom to reach the moving tailgate for a clean look.

              • @desibaba: Yes, using fuse tap may have clearance issues, i.e. blocked by adjacent fuses, or can't close fuse box cover, etc. Can get tricky than it seems.

The 3 pins used in OBD function the same way as the 3 wires (2 fuses + 1 ground).

If you like to know how long and at which part of the workshop your car was during a service, it's likely that they will unplug the OBD to use the scanner. But sometimes they deliberately unplug the dashcam at the USB to stop recording anyway.

                • @browser:

The 3 pins used in OBD function the same way as the 3 wires

Not exactly. I believe there's no ignition-switched 12V (ACC) pin in OBD. The OBD cable reads CAN messages to detect when the ignition is on or off.

                  • @doperst: It needs CAN high and CAN low to receive signals, looking at the photo, the bottom row (in reverse) only has pin 14 (CAN low) and 16 (battery power), the top row has ground pin.

So it is detecting voltage on CAN low to tell if ignition is on (active) or off (asleep).

    • They won't mind since they charge labour by time.

Just google your local area, you will find people operating from their home garage.

If you prefer a proper business setup, car audio places, auto electricians, some mechanics do that, but can imagine they charge more.

  • Good deal got one. Now for expert ozbargainers to address the elephant in the room. Where is the best place order a sd card ?

  • Thanks, I bought this setup.

    +Z60 Pro
    +1080p rear
    +2K interior
    +hardwire kit

    +128gb SD card
    +code: AUAS21

    Paid $155.55 and tracked $23.01

Turns out that adding the 128gb SD card for this combo takes OFF $65?
(I have some Sandisk Endurance cards ready to go anyway).

  • AUSS13 PROMO CODE NOT WORKING,says not available

  • For those trying to apply AUAS13 it will no longer work as apparently it's all used up

Use this one instead, but it's a matter of time before it is used up: AFFAU13
