This deal is online only. Seems pretty cheap for a older model. Can use discounted GC for even lower cost

Agree. Here is a comparison: https://nanoreview.net/en/soc-compare/samsung-exynos-2400-vs…
However, the Exynos 2600 in the S26 has significantly improved: https://nanoreview.net/en/soc-compare/samsung-exynos-2600-vs…

While I agree with spending a bit more for a newer phone, I would say that if you can't spend the extra then this phone is completely fine. The specs aren't that different between the S24+ and the S25+, it is not a significant jump up and all the talk about Exynos and any bench marking software etc is kind of fluff IMO (not just these phones, but most phones). Most people are using them to take photos, read email, look at social media etc and it does all that well.
I got the S24+ early last year (probably slightly less than this price tbh) and it has been a great phone, I see no reason to upgrade any time soon. Camera great, performance great, battery life great.

It's also modems - makes a big difference for reception and battery, but these get ignored in reviews because it's all done on wifi in an office.
Also driver support for the Snapdragon GPUs is waaaay better especially if you plan to do emulation. (Granted not for everyone)

S25 Edge for $899 is a better option

Any deal on s24 ultra? Wife wants to upgrade from s22 ultra and but Bluetooth spen is must for her. She wants to take selfies weird spen remote feature

There are bluetooth camera shutter release keychains that can do that at a fraction of the cost. And most Android Wear smartwatches can also remotely see what the camera is seeing and take photos as well.

While I can't speak to this phone, I did get the s25+ for $950 last week and I've been blown away by its performance. I would recommend spending the extra hundred or getting the s25 edge instead if the $950 Telstra deal isn't available.

No thx. This is a 3 years old phone, should be no more than $399 to even start considering.

You'd be lucky to find one second hand with a cracked screen for that price. It's not 2016 anymore. And thats why I'll stick with my second hand s22+

Wouldn’t get this one at this price, spend a hundred bucks or so more for a s25+, this uses exynos which is much less efficient than the sd8 elite and 40% slower
