Bought these a few days ago.
They seem very decent for the price. Cant complain.
    Already put them to work.

Good set and a good price. But if you can buy the 16 pieces set which included 22 to 24

      • I bought that set solely for the 21-24mm spanners which are usually almost the price of the whole set anyway.

Bought the Aldi Ratchet Spanner set for $7 and very happy with it

    • Hey were these on special recently, now or ages ago? I haven’t seen them. $7 seems cheap.

I’ve found on a Supercheap Auto set (not this one) the ratcheting head isn’t useful to use in engine spaces because it’s so bulky it fouls on other components.

Unfortunately one of the worst batches of GearWrench, but its priced where it probably should be

I bought the pivoting head set in another promotion. Wasn't happy with the quality - the rachets were rough and sloppy. One was bad enough that I had it replaced.

Same I’ve experienced with other cheap ratchets

No offset on the ring side will make them horrible to use imo.

Nah, I've had a set like these for probably 15 years or more, the lack of offset is much less of an issue than I would have thought it would be. And sometimes, its exactly what you need.

  • Fully Polished Chrome, but also Black Edition?

  • I already had a similar GW set chrome finish from 10 years ago, and I've been very happy with that set, smooth, durable and never skipped beat.

This set, however, is a huge downgrade. I've had the gear jam on two of them when applying light to medium force. The ratcheting mechanism is not as smooth as my old set.

TBH, this prob should be the regular price for the set considering the brand name. Id not pay more for it.

  • I bought these a few years ago and while they haven't seen a tonne of use, they have been fine. Yes they aren't best in class, they look nice but the finish isn't quite as durable asthetically as the chrome, but they do the job and they are cheap for a decent sized set.

Not that I think about it I have used them more on the bicycles than they cars, but they have held up

  • I've had this set for a few years. Held up well with everything I've thrown at them. Only downside is they are a bit thick and may not fit within right spaces within engines.

  • Nice price

I have this set and have already lost the 10 and the 17mm. Would not recommend
