Just call Officeworks and they will beat DigiDirect by 5%. Not the all time low, but it was good enough for me.

digiDirect surcharges: 0% card, bank deposit, Afterpay, Latitude, Zip payments | 0.95% PayPal, WeChatPay, AliPay & UnionPay payments.

edit:
"plain" console also available https://www.digidirect.com.au/nintendo-switch-2-console for $662.15 and price beat at $629.05

YMMV with Price Beat.

  • Has the price increase gone through in Australia yet?

Either way it still seems pricey.

  • Is this a deal? Pretty sure I paid like $80 less

    • The OP did say that it's not ATL

  • The game is a digital code fYi. I was a bit disappointed as I wanted to flog it

  • That's a pretty good price. I might jump and sell my plain switch 2 console I paid $686 for

    • It's not decorated, it just comes with the game

      • Sorry by plain I meant without game

  • Says awaiting stock. No price match!!

    • I got the price beat because you can still buy it and they will deliver in 2 weeks.

  • Still too expensive.

    Go the Switch OLED!

Just picked up a second hand mint condition console in it's box, with 3 games for $300.

    • You got a great deal but second hand Switch 2 can be had for $500. Switch 1 is nine years old, 2 is only one. With the upcoming price hike it won't get any cheaper any time soon.

      • The original Switch 1 is 9 years old, the OLED model is 5 years old.

My reasoning for going second hand OLED:

        • Better price point
        • Better screen (for handheld)
        • Better battery life (for handheld)
        • Huge catalogue of games, that are cheap.
        • There's probably others, but if I were paying over $600 for a handheld it would at least need an OLED screen.

Additionally, I use my PS5 for home play on TV, so I wanted something for handheld only.

        • Oled better portability. Switch 2 is big

        • And no new games. Why buy a switch 1?

        • Steam deck?

      • Where can you legitimately get second hand SW2 for $500?

  • not many games yet, just be mindful, mine is a dust collector. mario kart, metroid and DK thats about it.

    • I'll give you $300 for it lol…

    • Same here, no joy in owning switch 2

  • Will office works do the price match in store or need to call (sorry if that’s stupid question)

    • I tried and they will not price match because digidirect do not have stock.

      • I had the same result this evening. Over the phone "yeah we're usually pretty lenient", in person with a different person, "no we couldn't possibly if you can't order it today"

        Bit of a shame.

    • I got the Price Beat over the phone… but perhaps it was ozbargained and they stopped being lenient as some people said.

      • I might give them a call today and see what they say

        • They didnt want to price beat "DigiDirect has no stock"
