480

Hi Ozbargainers,

We've secured the entire remaining batch of Dr Reddy's Cetirizine 10mg (End June 2027 expiry) from one of our major suppliers at a massive discount — and I'm passing the full savings straight through.

Cetirizine is the active ingredient in Zyrtec and one of our best-selling allergy products. This is genuinely one of the strongest deals we've ever posted on this product for this length of expiry.

600 tablets → $34.99 (≈ 5.8¢ per tablet delivered)
400 tablets → $27.99 (≈ 7¢ per tablet delivered)

Why sneeze and snot through the day when for 6¢ you can avoid the unpleasantness?

FREE Satchel Postage + Tracking anywhere in Australia (select Free Postage at checkout).

This pricing is an all time low for longer-dated stock and will only run while this batch lasts. We have a few thousand boxes ready to ship, but I'm expecting this deal to move at a rate of speed.

Thanks again to the >30k Ozbargainers who have purchased from us and for the incredible support over the last 5+ years, deals like this actually make me feel like I'm adding something back to the community — Ozbargainer support is what allows me to keep wheeling out the deals and what keeps me on the pharma-kings speed dial list for whenever they need to exit inventory.

All current Dr Reddy's Cetrine 100-packs in Australia have the same End June 2027 expiry. Paying more on our site will not get you newer stock.

This batch will be listed at higher prices on eBay and our other channels very soon if it doesn't clear here first. We are still selling literal truck loads of our earlier deals - so as always the most popular are listed again below:

Cheers grateful for every cent that rolls in ;-)

Sadly we were burglarized recently and all of our 10c and 20c coins were stolen + $2k in glass and property damage ;-(

        Scumbags!

As for this deal, it’s a steal.
I bought the 400-pack from you a few weeks ago for $43 delivered, and would’ve jumped on the 600 at this price. Even with the condition I have that requires these, I don't need 1000 :)

Fun fact: I checked my records and I’ve been buying these deals from you since 2020. About 400 every 14 months or so.

        • Thanks for sharing, its amazing how many repeat clients we have - literally thousands now. The price in this deal is literally a "we have 2 pallets of this left will you take it all for $X" type deal, so certainly not something I think we'll see repeated anytime soon. Usually we get these offers on low volume impossible to sell product that the supplier doesn't want to be holding the baby on when it expires and usually we are the ones then left holding the baby (ie throwing most of it out when it expires -which really hurts us), this deal is exceptional as the product is part of our core product line that sells really well at its usual (discounted) price - which is around $40-50 per 400 tabs.

          • @jason101: Heck, I might even grab another 400 at this price. It just means I'm going to run about 14 months over. From your knowledge do you think they lose much efficacy a year over expiry?

How do we know if that Reddy was really a doctor ?

    • +8

Haha - Never checked, but the interweb now informs me:

No, Dr. Reddy (Kallam Anji Reddy) was not a medical doctor (MD).
He earned the title "Dr." through his PhD in Chemical Engineering, which he completed in 1969 at the National Chemical Laboratory in Pune, India.
      Quick background:

He held a B.Sc. and B.Sc. (Tech) in Pharmaceuticals and Fine Chemicals.
His doctorate was in chemical engineering, focused on technical and industrial aspects of chemistry/pharmaceutical manufacturing — not medicine or clinical practice.
He founded Dr. Reddy's Laboratories in 1984 as a scientist, entrepreneur, and industrialist, building one of India's largest generic pharmaceutical companies.

In India and many scientific/industrial contexts, people with PhDs are commonly addressed as "Dr." (especially in technical fields), which is why the company is named Dr. Reddy's. It reflects his academic achievement and expertise in pharmaceutical chemistry and manufacturing, not that he was a practising physician.
This is standard for many pharma company founders (similar to how some other companies use "Dr." for PhD holders).

      • Thanks just wanted to make sure since my kids make some medicines in the backyard :P
