  • I've had a bottle for 5 years that is still 3/4 full… 6 more will take me to about 150 years of age..

    • who needs super with that legacy

  • Will spraying the glass cleaner on shower screen prevent soap scum?

    • Probably wouldn’t recommend it for that, better off using a proper shower glass treatment or just a squeegee after use

    • RainX concentrate worked a treat in my shower for years, just make sure you clean it thoroughly before popping it on

      • Ditto… but not RainX.

@kongzi Before the RainX or alternative, use a stovetop scraper to reduce the solids, then use isopropyl alcohol to clean it (spray on the IPA, use a paper towel to clean; repeat if necessary until crystal clear). Once you notice the glass becoming dull, you should be able to omit the scraper step.

ATM, we're trying to sell the house. The water-repelling spray I use is done on the morning of open day once per week to bring it up crystal clear, but it needs the IPA treatment at the bottom (without scraper) about every 2 months when the bottom begins to dull.

Thinking about @DIYcharcat's advice, shower glass treatment may be designed to work in hot water. However, I'm sticking with what currently works for me.

BTW, I use RainX on the car, but haven't tried Pro Cerami-X.

  • I feel like buying just one and see how well it goes is a better financial decision here.. but who knows can anyone do a pitch on how good this product is and getting the 6pack instead of just buying one for $25 is the better option.

  • Much difference between this and the traditional Rain-X 2-in-1?

I've always used Rain-X 2-in-1 and been extremely happy with it.
