  Alternatively get igpu-less ~$150 Ryzen 5 7500f tray version, 2-3% worse performance, via AliExpress. Less reputable ecommerce platform than Amazon, but that thing sells like hotcakes and is the default AM5 budget chipset

    Yes Amazon now has 9600X at $235.38, cheaper than OP's non-deal, but also not a good price
