Anything less than full retail price is a deal, just not a very good deal.
There used to be dell reps that would look after customers if you contacted them through word of mount.. perhaps it's not a thing anymore.
Surely there would be better sales but these type of monitors would probably be excluded.

I'd got 2x 32" S3220dgf that I wouldn't mind selling and prefer 1x u4924dw. Same kind of resolution 5120x1440p but would look better on that single screen (and take up about 300mm less width on my desk.The common 34" ultrawides don't have enough height.

I've had one of these since December 2024, when I upgraded from a Samsung 49". Cost me $2400 at the time, and I don't regret spending the $$$. All general desktop use, no gaming.
I run a Mac Mini M4 on HDMI 2.0 and another MacBook Pro laptop over Thunderbolt 4.

For me, both. Most of the time it's multiple windows and it's handy to have one large area to freely size windows to sit the application and task. Might have the odd spreadsheet in full screen every now and then.

I generally run it in thirds. Main focus in the middle, with supporting items to the left and right.
