      I am not sure why you are getting negative votes. Michael Dell is a big supporter of Zionism. I try not to buy from such companies but unfortunately for IT products, you have very little choice.

    after buying a Dell latitude 7400 and seeing it's battery go to 0% 2 years after buying a refurb and effectively kill the machine, I'm steering clear of Dell. My other lenovo laptop from the same time and same CPU is still going with hours of battery life

    As expected, battery won't last more than 45-50 mins after continuous usage. I may have to return the item..

      That sucks, if mine's below 80% I'll be sending it straight back… To sell them as "refurbished" on ebay they MUST be over 80%.

          Thanks for that… You should be getting much more than 50 mins out of an 80% capacity battery, what are you doing with it for that 50 mins?

          Be mindful there's usually a stack of updates downloading and installing in the background, on a fresh windows install.. Mind you, even with that going on you should be getting longer… Is there anything in Task Manager that's hammering your CPU? (right click the taskbar and click Task Manager)

          Edit, you have the big 63Whr battery & i7, Google tells me:
          63Whr (4-Cell) Battery: This larger battery offers the best experience, yielding about 7 to 10 hours of casual web browsing or document editing
          Other reviews say:

              @smiles: Just an FYI, the one I purchased arrived, it's not in bad condition, a few external wear and scuff marks as expected, there's a wear/scuff mark across the middle of the screen where the screen touches the space bar when it's closed, that's a bit annoying, if there's any background light it stands out, (I've seen this keyboard screen wear issue before on a 5300 2in1).

              This was originally shipped with the larger 63Whr 4-cell 15.2v battery, that's been replaced with a new aftermarket 42Whr 3-cell 11.4v battery, it comes up as 41,165mWh… It'll be interesting to see how the aftermarket battery ages.

              Playing a 720p MP4 video through WIFI with the screen at about 70% brightness it ran for 4 hours from 100% charge down to 15% charge (below 30% charge battery saver was on).
