Beast (2026) Coming 4th June @ Stan
A Stan original apparently so most likely not coming to other services. but if I had to guess maybe Primevideo will offer to license it eventually.
MMA legend Patton James, now a commercial fisherman, is pulled back into the cage when his brother is in danger. Reuniting with his old coach Sammy, he commits to one final fight in one championship against the brutal champion Xavier Grau.
Stars: Daniel MacPherson, Luke Hemsworth, Russell Crowe.
The Long Walk (2026) Coming 30th May @ HBO Max
been waiting to see this on stream, coming to HBO but HBO trial is available through Primevideo. details at the bottom about this.
Francis Lawrence directs this Stephen King dystopian horror adaptation
In a dystopian future, a group of up to one hundred teenage boys undergo a deadly annual challenge. They must walk at a speed of no less than three miles an hour or risk being shot dead. A young contestant named Raymond Garraty begins this terrifying task, hoping to win the prize of anything that he demands.
* RANT about HBO Max via Primevideo. um so I had used up two promo's for HBO Max direct, early bird rates, then I think months later they offered $1 extra per month to come back for 3 months.
after that I did not get a "Free trial" available for HBO Max on the Primevideo app for like 6+ months, the apps were probably talking to each other.
edit: tbf I did also claim a $5 amazon credit for survey.
but then LAST WEEK, I finally saw HBO Max via Primevideo as "Start your 1 week free trial". it stayed that way for 4 or 5 days so I tried to time it so I could have time to watch the new releases on there, but then a day ago they yoinked it!
maybe it was because I was looking up "The Long walk" movie, maybe it was because I signed in to the HBO Max page to see if they had a returning customer offer. or maybe it's because it's literally a week before the Long walk will be added (a new release).
but maybe PSA is, even if you subbed to HBO Max before and they don't offer you a 1 week free through Primevideo, they will eventually.

I watched the long walk the a few weeks ago and was thoroughly disappointed, apart from the major details (like the competition of the walk), it was nothing like the book. If you liked the book, you'll be disappointed, so just go in with an open mind
