  • Nice deal tbh

    • fyi it comes around to this price every year for every new version.

  • Name checks out 😂

  • My Go2 has lasted years and still going strong. They build them to last.

  • Perfect for my golf bag

  • While I'm glad it's USB-C now, is the port going to last exposed to water without a plug?

    • Maybe I’ve just been extremely lucky but mine has been splashed a few times and still going good…

    • Smartphones have had water resistance with exposed ports for years, I'm sure this'll be fine. Just don't plug it in while there's moisture in the port.

    • I use a clip 4 in the shower and never had a problem with it, I assume this would be the same :/

    • I had two phones dunked repeatedly, 2-3 times each, totally submerged. Ports work fine, I thought they were goners, shockingly still work fine and not waterproof types.

    • I've had my Go 3 clipped to my shower head for years, no problems at all

  • Blue is $34 as well. Other colours a bit more expensive. Was hoping for the red, but it's $5 more.

    • $5 is worth the extra speed

      • There's red accents on the black, that was good enough for me.

  • Not just a little bit portable - ULTRA portable!

    • Meant to add that it looks like a great deal too. Doh. Thanks for sharing, OP.

  • This is coming up as a used item for me

  • This has a radio fm?

    • No, its a Bluetooth portable speaker. Though, you can connect and stream the radio from your phone to the speaker.

  • Black says Mono, Blue says Stereo and Pink says Surround sound. Aren't they meant to be the same item, just difficult colours?

    • difficult colours

Not sure about difficult, but these are great speakers lol

      • Colours can be as difficult as they are different.

    • they are absolutely mono……and it doesnt even matter in this case…i dont even want stereo in this kinda of footprint…..

      • If you happen to have two You can stereo pair them together via the app!

  • Dang, was hoping I could sync it with my Flip 5 but apparently JBL have multiple different syncing technologies and the Go is using the latest one.

This article has a compatibility matrix for those wondering:

  • Has anyone else had the glue for the letters come off their speaker?

  • Bought this 7 months ago for $45. Recommend! Very nice small speaker

    • What punch does the volume have, tinny?

      • a good alternative is the Xiaomi Sound pocket. usually for less $ it was $31 regularly when I saw it on amazon au.

feedback says it punch equally or better than the big brand alternatives.

  • Matching Good Guys, just wish GG was closer to where I live. Shipping kills it

    • Yep GG with the 12% off via top cash is a good buy. Postage also was $4 to my area so same price as Amazon

  • Stuck between this and a Soundcore Select 4 Go
2 from Costco for $60, Amazon they’re $35 too and sound like they might have clearer sound plus like 13 hours extra runtime I think?

  • Is it worth to spend more for the new model?

  • TOZO PE1 is also $36 on Amazon - I replaced this Go speaker when it was stolen with one of these for the same price and loved it so much I bought a second that syncs up. Battery life is insanely long and I leave them outside as throw around speakers for yard work.

Great value speaker that is highly rated in reviews and can’t beat IPX8.

    • Looks great for the shower. I had a UE Roll that lasted over 10 years in the shower - I hope this lasts even half that.

      • How much louder than your phone in the shower do you find it?

        • A phone speaker output is typically 1-2W. The JBL is 4.2W. the Tozo is 10W. This should give you an idea.

        • I don't take the phone into the shower. These speakers that hang are very suitable. Sometimes I like to blast it all the way. Since my Roll died recently I've been using a small speaker that doesn't do very well, sounds very tinny - hopefully this will be much better.

    • The power rating and the battery life does make it the best shower speaker for podcasts. You can only buy one at this price btw.

    • Bought the TOZO PE1, it seems like a better speaker. You should post that as another deal.

Also, just to add, I noticed the TOZO PE1 has a microphone, so you can trigger your voice assistant through it and also take phone calls.

    • Bought the TOZO PE1. Thanks for the recommendation! Wouldn't have known about this brand otherwise.

    • Now back to $50, but seems to cycle often enough.

    • 12% Topcashback makes it ~$30

    • Are you promoting your vibe coded bargain website?

  • got one thanks!

  • any recommendations for small decent speakers with a microSD slot?
Id like to set up a playlist for the kid to use.
I dont want him to use phones to stream music yet.

  • If you have a $10 bday jb voucher you can get for $29.95 as it's $39.95 at jbhifi

    https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/jbl-go-4-mini-portable-bl…

    • Thanks for reminding about $10 bday voucher. I price matched to amazon and got it for $24

    • Thank you sir, saved me $10 AND it expires today

  • Purple and Pink back in stock OHHH YEAHHHH

  • Great deal! I've been using a UE Roll for years in the shower and it finally died. For anyone who's tried both the JBL Go 4 and the TOZO PE1 at similar price points — how do they compare for outdoor use at the beach or camping? The IP67 rating on the JBL looks solid but the TOZO's battery life seems hard to beat. What's your experience?

    • The TOZObis heaps more powerful based on the specs. Although the JBL which I've had first hand experience with can get plenty loud, specifically, for its size.

    • My Roll died recently too. I loved it, was my shower speaker.

Received the PE1 today and it's pretty good - not as good as Roll but more than good enough for the shower and for the price awesome value.

  • Got mine today and dam that little thing is impressive, I mean not loud enough for a public train but it got bass

    • My visceral reaction was to hate you for that comment…. So well done!

  • I just got the TOZO delivered and the claimed 10W is a massive lie. Returning it and getting a Soundcore Select 4 Go instead at the same price.

    • Have you downloaded the app and used the tuning profiles? Works great, they sync instantly while music is playing and you can hear the difference.

      • Are you associated with the product? I just got the Soundcore delivered, it's twice louder and much higher sound quality out of the box. And that's before playing with the 9 band EQ. I would rather it first, the JBL Go 4 second snd the TOZO PE1 third.

        • Update: if you only care about the best sound quality, including punch and instrument separation, I would recommend JBL, it still gets plenty loud.

        • Relax lol, I bought a product and thought it was good value for the purpose. I’m not an audiophile and no I don’t own 20 speakers. I also have a JBL speaker and find the sound is quite comparable once a sound profile is synced to the TOZO.

          • @dsiritz: No worries, the TOZO's specs looked good on paper as well (10W vs JBL's 4.2W!), but it was a disappointment, so I had to return it. I am actually an audiophile, but not s snob and have opened a ton of BT speakers over the years. I needed something to listen to podcasts in the shower and believe that Soundcore Select 4 Go is the best value atm in terms of the balance power, battery life, sound quality and price between these 3 speakers. I actually got 2 of them to run in a stereo pair, because why not for extra $36?

  • I used mine at the beach today and people were giving me weird looks. Where else am I supposed to use it?

  • There's white one now available for $35 https://amzn.asia/d/04Y3X1S1
