        No worries. It's been great for the shed or when we go play basketball in the street. Good sound without being crazy loud, survives a drop or two. Has outlived the last one I had

      From an objective point of view, we have had significantly lesser warranty returns on this speaker compared to the UE Boom.

    IP67 vs waterproof or are they considered the same?

    It's says a few splashed/ dunks, which is not what I would call waterproof.

      Fair question @carrawa. Within the IP67 rating, the 6 means fully dust tight, and the 7 means it can handle being submerged in ‘up to 1m of water for 30 minutes’. Accordingly it is a good bit more than splash resistant. It is just not built for deep, prolonged, pressurised or major saltwater / chlorinated water dunking use. Treat it as rain, splashes and the occasional dunk.
