  • Have one, really like it.

    • Thank you for the experience share @chickentaste. Much appreciated.
      Best wishes,

      • No worries. It's been great for the shed or when we go play basketball in the street. Good sound without being crazy loud, survives a drop or two. Has outlived the last one I had

  • Juts wanted to check if the Sonos Ace stock is Australian stock and does it come with a proper receipt with gst and abn details on it
Just in case one wants to claim TRS

    • Hi @dealhunterprimed,
Thanks for reaching out. Yep, Australian stock with GST Tax Invoice. We are also here to help in case of any issues with the product.
      Cheers,
      Travis

  • How does this compare to ue boom?

    • Hi @Pusdi,
From an objective point of view, we have had significantly lesser warranty returns on this speaker compared to the UE Boom.
Rest, the OZB community and online reviews would suggest best.
      Best wishes,
      Travis

  • Any chance of a deal on the older X5? Looking for a cheap, but good karaoke speaker with 2 mics

  • IP67 vs waterproof or are they considered the same?

It's says a few splashed/ dunks, which is not what I would call waterproof.

    • Fair question @carrawa. Within the IP67 rating, the 6 means fully dust tight, and the 7 means it can handle being submerged in ‘up to 1m of water for 30 minutes’. Accordingly it is a good bit more than splash resistant. It is just not built for deep, prolonged, pressurised or major saltwater / chlorinated water dunking use. Treat it as rain, splashes and the occasional dunk.
      Hope this helps.
      Cheers,
      Travis

      • Thanks. Have had more than a few accidents. So, it becomes an issue.

        Don't use in the shower!
