  If you reach level 10 within the next 20 or so days, you'll unlock a 7-day login event which will give out 100 stellar gems (premium currency) for free. For reference, that's enough to buy a paid song and usually costs $1.69.
  You'll also gain access to other events which give out more free songs but need more time and effort. But the game is pretty casual-friendly overall

    Forgot to add that there’s a temporarily free song in the store under the “Singles” section. If you can’t see it, update your game.

    There is also an always free pack called “LiveMania”

    It’s pretty good! I’ve been playing for 3 years since I saw the first free promotion here (I still suck tho lol). The spinning gimmick is quite fun, and it’s easily playable on phone (in fact I’d say it’s easier than playing on a tablet).

    I stayed free to play for like 2 years too (though I only played casually), spent like $8 on a pack and haven’t spent again since.
    But you can try yourself to see if you have time and storage space lol

    Also unless you’re crazy enough to all perfect+ each song on the hardest difficulty (respect) there should be enough content for free as you can always go for a higher score! Also there are no pop-ups to annoy you to buy stuff

  IAP driven though.. "Base game" is free but everything else has individual pricing on it.

  taken from one of the reviewers on Google Play: "the game is fun very fun infact, my main issue is the money thirst, damn. Almost everything is paid, the game is paid, the song inside required payment. to enjoy fully you need money, if not you can just play the few free songs that some you don't even wanna hear. good game, Immaculate concept, just greedy devs. Still good dho"
