I am guessing this is targeted and for Uber One members only. Maybe someone can confirm in the comments.

Uber Eats has a Dine Out feature that gives you 50% back in Uber Cash (up to $50 per visit) when you book a reservation at select restaurants through the app and scan your receipt after dining.

Step Action
1. Book Find a participating restaurant in the Uber Eats app and book a reservation
2. Dine Show up at your reservation time and eat as normal — pay your bill directly with the restaurant
3. Scan Before you leave, scan your receipt in the Uber Eats app

    I assume and hope that Uber cash gets used before uber credit from gift cards so it doesn't expire before it can be used.

      Doordash going is a scam.

      Uploaded receipt - never got the credit. Support staff are useless. Plenty of reports on Reddit about the same.

        Agreed definitely a scam. I dined at one of their restaurants the other day and, their check-in tile function wasn’t working. As I was holding up the payment queue, staff asked me to pay first, then contact support to have the credit applied, providing a photo of my receipt as proof.
        I reported the issue through the app and called their support team. No resp after 3 days, I called again and to be told a follow-up email will been sent to their specialist team for review.

      For doordash i always get error when trying to upload receipt.Do you get similar error sometimes?It only worked 1 time and rest of the times i need to contact support and dont help at all.

        these days you get an email asking for receipt to be emailed for them to process the credits.

        but overall they are processing the credits in 2-3 days

      I had problems when they first introduced, but now it goes like clockwork. Always receive the credits in 2-3 days. It's a huge hassle when it doesn't work though.

    It's gonna be available for non Uber One members too. Currently, some merchants work on a 40% discount for new customers (some capped depending on the usual food pricing) and some can even be stacked with a ride voucher to the venue with up to $50

    Made a booking last night for a 13:30 reservation this afternoon when the offer was on, finished the reservation 14:30, but could not find the option to scan the receipt for 4 hours. Contacted the support 3+ times, and they would not do any thing other than offer a $10 compensation. YMMV.

    Used this for lunch booking today. Took a while to find that scan receipt was in a small button (Your Plans) in the Dine out Section. Then had issues scanning receipt as location of restaurant was not accurate on Uber Eats App. Had to drive physically to the location shown on the Uber Eats App to scan receipt but received $50 cashback immediately after.
