Premier League has finished so I wanted to cancel my Stan subscription which would expire in 3 days. They immediately offered $12 per month (instead of $32) if I kept the subscription. Not bad since Roland Garros is still going for another week.

If you look at what streaming the PL costs in the UK, Stan is a bargain at full price
Not comparable when one is played at 1am, the other during the day. It is nice to be able to watch so many full games on demand though.
Since it moved from Optus to Stan, it’s more expensive for less. Which is a rip off in comparison to what we had.
Depends on your needs. I'm a rugby, football and tennis fan so Stan represents great value for me.
I remember when you all used to whinge about how expensive it was when it was on Foxtel… And you got every single other major sporting code included too.
I feel like this is a great example of "be careful what you wish for".
I find Stan's offering to be way better than Optus Sport was.
The only thing that peeves me is paying the subscription and still having to sit through adverts on the highlight packages.
Optus' adverts were an absolute joke by the end though. 3 minutes of add to watch 9 minutes of highlights.
@pauly85: I always fast forward past the adverts on the highlights and rapid recaps. saves 30s and 15s respectively, but more importantly abates the annoyance factor of the ads.

the entire thing with Optus sports not having the rights to the epl anymore and having everyone forced to switch to Stan and then being forced to get the sports package (ultimately paying way more than the Optus sports offering) just to watch the epl is complete and utter trash.
the entire transition was a complete scam and deserves more of a spotlight.
Stan can keep their bullshit promo. how about do right by the football fans that have to get up at stupid hours to watch their team play and let us purchase an EPL pass only instead at a cheaper rate.

Am using the $12 SD plan with $20 Sport - cancelled and was offered 3 months at 50% off.
When I tried to cancel , got offer for 50% for 3 months ie $21. My subscription is $42. So I went ahead and cancelled.

Stan Sports might be one of the worst deals of all time for anyone into motorsports, it is so annoying that Formula E is locked behind it, considering it’s free on ITV in the UK… same goes for IndyCar. At least WEC isn’t exclusively on Stan, but come on now

Am on the $37/mo tier (3 streams) and was offered:
- 50% off per month for 3 months
- 30% off per month for 2 months
- 20% off per month for 1 month
