Gozney tread $749 at TuckersBBQ.
There's a few BBQ stores doing it at this price but I took it to Anaconda in Queensland and price beat for $674.10.
Did the same with the stand and the bag for a good bargain

Surely it's on purpose 😂
Got to be
Clicked looking for this comment, did not disappoint, never change OzB.
I dream of owning a gozney one day. For now my $99 mistral Electric Pizza oven from big w will do
Yeah likewise I made an impulse purchase of a Wolstead Rapido Pizza Oven and although it's electric it's actually excellent
I have the jumbuck from Bunnings for about 3 years now and just got a Roccbox at Christmas. The Roccbox has a nice premium feel etc but honestly the jumbuck cooks just as well for almost 1/3 the price .
Do you tend to burn crust near flame when using jumbuck or harder to manage the flames?
Advantage of Gozney it fast recovery in between pizza, better insulation, better flame shape technology, thicker (double stone thickness), higher oven ceiling so can cook whole chicken among few other things, so more expensive for few reasons.
@huntabargain: So with jumbuck the stone heats faster which is a pro and con, faster to heat up but as you said it cools faster as you cook a pizza so you need to blast it between pizzas to heat it back up. Also with the jumbuck, stone is removable which is ideal for cleaning or flipping between cooks.
With both ovens you need to rotate the pizza as it cooks. My approach is heat full strength to get stone to temp then turn down to min once you launch a pizza, rotate pizza 45 deg every 20 sec on jumbuck or 30 sec on Roccbox.
Jumbuck has a wider mouth than Roccbox which is better for rotating.
In my case I’m never going to be in a situation that I’m going to be looking to cook a chicken or anything besides a pizza on a pizza oven.
Yes Roccbox is a more premium product in feel and aesthetic and I’m not detracting from it in any sense but anyone on a budget or unsure the jumbuck is a no brainer, it’s cheap and comes with carry bag and peel.
@Rkel403: I have Ooni Koda 16 and find the larger size is easier to cook without being super careful and also use it to cook other stuff. I have home made door so it heat up in just over 10min, so is handy to cook 1-2 pizzas. I used to have 12" one from BBQ Galore but sold it after few months. Next one when upgrading in future will not get smaller than 16" too.
"Masterchef, do you mind telling me why you're a Pizza Oven"
He is battling The Pizza cOvenant
"Sir… finishing this margarita"
Thanks for listing the cheaper and better options.. very helpful
Thanks for the recommendations
Yes Gozney Arc Lite is cheaper better buy.
What's the main difference with this one and the arc?
Both 12" and similar weight & similar flame technology, so can't see why cost $250 extra for 2 handle. I think the trend is designed to take for camping, but then you need to buy stand for another $350. I wouldn't buy it if to use at home, better get the ARC 14" or ARC light 12"
@huntabargain: Thanks for the info. Yeah it's stupid to spend the extra 250 for handles. I'm sure you could still easily carry the arc lite without handles.
I got mine over the Arc Lite because I intend to use it camping and events, the accessories are useful for that, its also as far as im aware a quicker heating time, quicker cooling down, higher max temp, thermometer.
This video breaks it down quite well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhqmMgbv_SY
Of course if camping or moving it around isnt your use case its likely not worth it
If you can afford individual pizza ingredients then you can afford this
I make my own dough and spend about $5/pizza MAX on nice toppings. Wild to see how much pizza shops are charging for a pie, knowing the cost of ingredients.
$5 may be when use Burrata or fresh Mozzarella or fresh Fig?
Yup. $5 a pizza

This British man runs a pizza truck. He uses Gozney. Fun watch.
Big fan of Peddling Pizza, his videos area great!
His 62% hydration dough recipe is great. Makes it so easy to handle the dough compared to a 70% hydration which is very painful since the dough is so wet. The outcome is virtually the same.
The Kiln r is on sale at Harvey Norman, looks like most of the accessories are too https://www.harveynorman.com.au/catalogsearch/result/?q=kiln…
Comes in NG as well, not many ovens have NG option in Aust. No much spec shown tho, not sure if it gets hot enough, listing says up to 400c in 15min
EDIT: Another site states gets to 500c in 18min and has rotating stone for 16" pizza.
Thank you, just bought mine!
Same price via Gozney direct too with the $150 off promo
Halo there, Masterchef!
