Palmolive is much better. Antibacterial handwash is overkill, soap is all you need to remove bacteria. Dettol handwash/body wash smells terrible and is unnecessary extra chemicals.

Ordered that instead, cheers!

I used to buy palmolive in the past before switching to Dettol after noticing issues with it - soap was not free flowing as it should, was like jelly and fell outside the soap dispenser while refilling. I am no expert, probably got bad batches or old stock of Palmolive hand wash delivered from Amazon couple of times
Never had any issues with dettol, so stuck with this.
The transparent Palmolive ones are like that, the pearly ones are creamy no issue with them

That’s 3x 1L, not 3x 3L.

Ah, my typo - good pickup!

I have eczema sometimes on my hands, when I used this Dettol Aloe wash at a random restroom at work, it has been since been my go too, as the moisturiser factor / antibacterial balance is just right for me. And the scent isn't to harsh / flowery like other soaps ive used (which also cause a negative reaction)
It's usually 11 dollars RRP, 9 dollars on sale for a single unit.
Pretty good. but I just checked chemist warehouse have it on sale at $5.5 per unit. so same price.
Il test out chamoline one from Palmolive now that someone else has shared it.

As someone who used to have eczema flare ups on hands I agree this wash doesn’t actually cause flare ups.

Does this need water to use or will it leave your hands sticky?

It does as its hand wash / soap (not soap officially but to be used as), not to get mixed with its hand sanitiser variants

Do people really notice the difference between branded handwash refills and the cheaper WW/Coles/Aldi generics?

I used to be a long time user of home brand refills but have switched to the premium ones on sale. There is a small difference. YMMV.

I may need to hand-in my OzB card - I got sucked in by the big discount and didn't check against the Balnea brand we normally buy from Woolies!
- Dettol deal here = 58c per 100ml
- Palmolive deal I linked to = 40c per 100ml
- Balnea @ Woolies = 32c per 100ml
- Tricare @ Aldi = 30c per 100ml
Can't say I've personally noticed a huge difference

I buy the cheapest usually.
Thank you for doing the math for me.

I do.

Same price at coles

Spotted the Palmolive equivalent at the bottom of the page that looks better value - 3 x 3L for $11.97:
