      So all the network ports are wasted because I need a seperate switch with 2.5gbe or 10gbe ports for my APs and NAS :(

  I know the most popular thing on ozbargain seems to be to say how terrible this device is because you cannot upgrade it, but gee, they must have some awesome set up's. Must have more than 5 wireless access points and 5 cameras, all running on 10gb with a 10gb fibre link.
  Personally, for a pretty sweet home set up, this will get most people started. If you want to run 20*4k cameras at home, this is not for you.

  I think it's terrible because it's all your eggs in one basket. One part fails you lose the whole lot.

  Really wanted on of these it just needed an SSD ( or NVMe) slot instead of a second power supply.

    That's the Ubiquiti UniFi paradox…. every device has 7 or 8 of the 9 things you must have or want. but not that one key feature. but there will be another product that has that feature… but is then missing one or two of the other features you need. The paradox is there is never, ever, a UniFi product that does all the things YOU want it do.

    At least that's been my experience over the 2 years of UniFi purchasing.
