    Does this basically rule out any item that is already discounted at time of purchase?

      No. Cashback includes all discounts from the retailer that are automatically discounted i.e. includes all the sales on the website that are automatically applied.

      The term is confusing and is also used in other ShopBack's retailers. I've asked the rep GYB before in previous offers.

        Thanks for confirming, it is very confusingly worded—an item routinely discounted by Amazon could be read as a ‘store discount’, a Lightning Deal as a ‘store special deal’, etc.

            Probably best to use the $10 Zip offer to buy a gift card.

        @AsukaST @trixieb good question. If an item falls under a 0% category, it won't be eligible to trigger the $10 bonus Cashback. You will need to buy items from the categories tracking above 0% to hit that $100 spend target.

        So using gift card as payment method is fine but how doe store credit works. I have promotional credit from Amazon which applies automatically. Not sure if I can opt out of that.

          It's up to Amazon to pay or decline cashback. There is a risk Amazon may decline cashback as it's against their T&Cs. Cashback may track and be declined later. It may also be paid.

          I usually spend the promotional credit before I use cashback.

          You can also "untick the Promotional credit box" at the checkout page under Payment method > Your available balance.

          It will definitely decline. Will likely track and then ultimately decline. I would cancel the order and redo, and disable promo credit balance being applied to the order as trixieb said

            @Lucille Bluth: When my order was cancelled (for other reasons) with the promotional credit applied, the credit was not refunded to my account. Not sure if the credit would be automatically returned to the account. Might have to contact Amazon.

        Have you received the $10 bonus?

        Amazon gift cards are upsized at 2.5% rate currently on SB. One of the Amazon gift cards purchased today tracked at 1% instead of 2.5% that is advertised.

        @gotyourback I will message you but there are several glitches including my other post with the receipts mentioned here not scanning accurately. It is tedious as these errors are happening quite frequently.
