They're not really comparable though.
S9 has no viewfinder, no grip, no mechanical shutter, it's aimed mainly at vloggers.
A6700 is more a general-purpose camera, with a decent grip and really good battery life. Not sure why you would be choosing between them.
True, thats my point, between fullframe for landscaper that didnt really care about viewfinder, grip, electronic shutter OR apsc for wild life/birding with fast auto focus.
For context, its been almost 7 years I didn't touch photography due to various reason. I just wanted to relive my old hobby.
I've found the S9 to be a great camera to get back into photography and learn videography. The full frame sensor is beautiful and allows for the full field of view when adapting film/analog lenses. The Real Time LUTs are so good that it doesn't really need much if any editing afterwards. I'd choose it over the A6700 even if the S9 were more expensive.
@poppingtags: Thats is interesting. I was doing part time as videographer during my schooldays, it was when transfering from 2 hrs footage from miniDV to digital mpeg take 4 days.
May be it is time to revisit videography as well.
@mfu: Much faster transfer rate these days, you can even transfer wirelessly straight to your form if shot in MP4 Lite!

Not sure, mine still on transit. Usually we got the voucher when we received the item.
The invoice make it look like a physical voucher included in the package.

My em10 mk1 shutter just died, any recommendations cheaper than this?
Except you wanted to switch entirely, this is fullframe with L mount, your em10 is m43 mount. Your lenses will not compatible on S9.

This one is cheaper. Ordered
