CamelCamelCamel. The iOS version definitely can; you can share devices with other iOS users in Find My. Unsure about Android, but doubt it would be any different.
Yes
Yup, can confirm you can share to others in Google's Find Hub
I thought duo meaning android and apple compatible lol
That's exactly what it means. It's one at a time though; you choose on set up.
Hitting the tags on Ali soon based on the rate of price decreasing
I have got them for $2-3 on ali bundle deals. How cheap do you want?
But how long do the batteries last? Ugreen could end up being cheaper if you need 4.
$2-3 each where people can buy 10 at a time and don't care of losing
Can you please post a link to the one that you've bought and tried?
Would love to get a couple for my partner who is always losing keys.
I found a lost set of keys that went missing 4 years ago (by my oh) just last week. Decided that I need to be a better partner and help find lost keys sooner than that.
i just ordered generics off aliexpress. make sure they are compatible with "find my" or android "find hub" , not the ones that use their own app.
how do these compare to air tags?
no UWB
Is it correct that these don't use GPS?
Yes they use Bluetooth to connect to a nearby phone and then uses the phones gps. Cool technology.
I have bought a few packs of the Android ones. Sometimes works great and can play a sound when nearby and the tones are loud. Much louder than airtags. However, sometimes, it takes forever to play the sound when it is nearby (i.e. trying to find keys in the house). It seems like after I've found it, I need to plug it in to charge and then it responds better. That's about the only issue I've got with it. Perhaps after receiving them, give all of them a full charge.
I'm hoping the price comes down. For now I'll just continue to buy more cheap tags from AliExpress. $10 for 4 Apple tags with AliExpress coins helping to get the price that low. Android tags are still a little more expensive at about $3 each. Almost cheaper than buying new CR2032 batteries.
Also AliExpress sell OBD2 port ones that are constantly powered even when the car is off. Only in Apple Find My variety so far. Helps avoid the need to constantly change batteries. They're about $6 each with coins

I'm not counting in the batteries than came with a $2 tag lasting long :-)
What tags do you recommend from aliexpress thx :)
I'm looking for recommendation too from Ali

I used these when going to Japan a couple months back, were flawless and pretty accurate. Missus and I were watching them as we boarded planes to make sure our luggage was on the plane etc lol. For iPhone users the iOS ones plug into Find My iPhone & made it easy to see and manage. I had 4 in total, 1 in each luggage and one in each backpack in case we left it behind somewhere/put into a locker.
Can multiple people have track the devices at the same time?
