Absolutely amazing deal for the Asus RT-BE92U Router delivered from Amazon Germany. $529 locally. The Wifi network different channels may be changeable if that matters. Also need an Aussie adapter for the power plug.

Update - EU stock. According to the comments below the WiFi coverage from Germany is less due to EU regulations and not the same as a local unit. You can't change the Wi-Fi via Asuswrt/Merlin firmware to Australia so buyer beware.

    Don't buy, the range would be abysmal. I have previously bought an overseas router, the range was so weak and there was no workaround or anything to flash custom firmware.

    The antenna array on this one is pretty terrible. Only 2 for 5GHz and 2 for 6GHz with 4 for 2.4GHz.
    I have it and was getting a lot of poor coverage and drop outs.
    Replaced it pretty quickly.

    I had a AX-86U Pro from germany and with asuswrt-merlin I could turn up the radio power beyond even US and AU regulations
    idk about this new model but it is supported by asuswrt-merlin

        Thats an old model. the newer wifi7 ones like this are locked down in hardware so that trick isn't possible.

    You can get this on Amazon US for approx $320AUD delivered, would this have any issues with broadcast power limits like the EU one?

    Obviously more expensive than this deal but seems to be far cheaper than locally.
