Was $59 15 mins ago, now $78, get in quick. I have a couple of these & love them. 2K, can be used without subscription, fast detection & notifications. Excellent at night without IR attracting all the bugs & setting off false notifications.

      Comes with power adaptor much like a router. No need for electrician. It is much much better than battery powered cameras

        Need a power plug nearby then. Was thinking just all all wireless with solar. Just not sure if it will last

          Depends on what your needs are. My past experience with wireless Reolink cameras are that events are always triggered too late. If someone run or walk very fast, there is a very good chance the wireless camera videos won't show the person's face

            @Red Terence: I've got a couple of the Tapo C410's (battery + solar panel) as well as these ones. The battery ones are as you describe (they mostly miss the start of a detection) b/c they use a movement sensor to fire up the camera & start recording, which causes the delay. I believe this method uses a lot less power, which allows the cameras to run for much longer without depleting their batteries. These one that are plugged into the wall are brilliant. They are constantly awake & cacheing the feed, allowing them to keep 5 or so seconds prior to a detection event, plus an extra minute of footage after its over so you get the whole exchange.

    It can be hardwired into a network, or plugged in & connect to your wifi. It also records locally to an SD Card (sold seperately) which you can view from your phone via the Tapo app, no subscription required. I found it quick & easy to setup. The notifications are almost instantaneous, whether you are at home or away. You can configure what types of events you want to notifications for, I find it quite flexible.

      I'm guessing it still requires a power outlet or is it PoE?

        Whilst it has an ethernet connection, it does need a power outlet. Reasearching further, Tapo advises that you can achieve it by adding an external PoE Splitter.

      Yeah, fair call. When I originally found the cameras on Amazon, they were advertised at $59. In the 15 mins it took me to check around other sites & get the post up, the price had shifted to $78, so I had to adjust the post. I suspect $50 might have been an ATL?

    $70 is the normal price for C320WS

    C325WB is what actually want to buy,

    Key Differences

      Completely agree with this, C325WB are much better, even at a higher price point. I have recently bought some at ~$85 each on sale. My original post had these C320WS at $59 each which I think it's great value, although I was too late in posting before the price jumped. The Camelcamelcamel link above confirms the price drop, so if anyone is interested in either of these, it's worth setting yourself a price drop alert there the next time they go on sale.
