Was semi-browsing for a replacement streaming tablet and came across this deal.
Highlights (from my point of view):
* Comments suggest this is a genuine global ROM device (not a China ROM flashed) which means OTA updates are available.
* Affiliated product, so stack with 17% Shopback/Topcashback for extra wins! There are cheaper ones available on Aliexpress but they aren't eligible for cashback.
* 'Limited-time deal' bundle: not sure what this contains, but if it comes with goodies, then even better!
* Join Team OzBargain for shopping credits ($15 USD for your next purchase): https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/961058
* Bonus: stack with $24 off $249+ Paypal pay in 4 if you can include some other items to the order.

I can add it to cart.

Strange, I definitely don't get an add to cart button.. oh well, made my decision for me!
- 1

Yeah I've encountered that problem too in the past. Like all Aliexpress errors, can't tell you why, and its not happening to me now with this
- 2

I added mine to cart with other items.

How is this compared to TGG Tab 11 that came up the other day? Is it the same just the unofficial global version?
- 0

From memory, the TGG Tab 11 has a matte screen and pen included and was 256GB, while this has a polished screen, pen is extra, and is 128GB.
- 4

IMO the pen and the extra storage, along with the local warranty, is well worth the extra $30 or so of the Tab 11 after discounts. The matte screen may actually be a preference for some, but I don't think it matters too much either way.
One thing to note is that the Tab 11 apparrently doesn't allow screen output via it's USB C port, I don't know about the one in this post.
- 3

At $30 more, I would agree, though I don't like the matte screen. The TGG deal would've cost me $70 more than what I paid at AliExpress, I believe.

'Limited-time deal' bundle says sold out for me, only 'standard', 'add silicone case' and 'add lenovo pen' available
- 0

Other than different ecosystem, how does this compare to baseline iPad? Tia
- 0

I got a 12.7" Xiaoxin Pad Pro ; can only get standard definition on Kayo which is unwatchable
Have to use the website to stream HD+
- 0

I think that's a Kayo issue.
Have read other comments elsewhere with people having same issue with different tablets
- 1

my pad pro was fine with stremio.
- 0

Like wise
- 0

Yeah they must have an approved device list - maybe I can look into spoofing a device ID or something like one of the Galaxy Tabs with similar resolution
- 0

No phones or tablets are supported for 4k which really sucks. Or are you saying you can’t get 1080p to work on the tablet?
https://kayosports.com.au/help/s/article/How-to-watch-Kayo-i…
- 0

Nope - its like 360p
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, clearing cache/data, force closing million times, flashed global rom and still same poor quality.
- 0

@parker2004au: I have the same problem on a Samsung tablet, Kayo app on Android is just garbage I think.
- 3

@XeKToReX: Same problem here on a Lenovo tablet, streaming quality is garbage, but my 5G internets does show Sydney - don't know if location 🤔 is affecting quality. Older kayo versions for me didn't have this problem last year.
But my Android phone streams FHD fine 👍
- 0

Ouch, thanks for the heads up.
- 0

This is because the MediaTek CPU/GPU in your tablet isn’t able to do hardware decoding on the Kayo stream due to an incompatibility.
That’s why running it in a browser works, you are forcing software decoding and the tablet is easily powerful enough to software decode the 4K stream.
Sorry to say there’s no way around this unless Kayo change their encoding or MediaTek releases some driver updates.
Same issue is happening on my Lenovo pad pro and my brother’s Samsung with similar CPU- 0

Could it be a widevane or whatever they call it issue? Does it have it?

If you don't mind 6GB RAM vs 8GB on this deal, you can get the 6GB/128GB version of this tablet for under AUD150 with Shopback's 40% cashback on Temu tomorrow. It's probably going to be global ROM flashed unofficially, so no OTA updates.
- 3

Got a link to temu one? I believe this has been released worldwide so official global rom is available with OTA updates
- 1

This is the cheapest listing I could find at the moment. It's AUD217.72 before cashback.
https://www.temu.com/au/-xiaoxin-11-2025-tablet--rom-tb335fc…- 0

$232.72 AUD for me. You might have temu credit that is auto applying
- 0

I have been eyeing on this pad for a while, would you be pls share the link from Temu? Not sure which one is better.
- 0

The link shows the price as AUD $232 excluding any cash back
- 0

@utsc: Yeah, looks like it's applying an additional $15 off to me which you probably are not seeing on your account.
- 1

how did you find out about the 40% cashback?
- 0

In the Shopback app home screen there is a view of upcoming upsized cashback deals for next few days.
- 3

anyway to know if 40% is for new or existing users?
- 0

If only this is the GT pro
- 0

Is the GT a popular one?
- 0

GT has a SD 8 Gen3 processor.
More powerful cpu and better for gaming.
- 0

Seems to be cheaper here?
Says "Best price in similar deals" and has more reviews/units sold. Looks to be the same product.- 1

Not affiliated, so no 17% cashback.
- 0

I ended up buying with this link, even if cashback doesn't work, for the same model it's only $203 (instead of 231). I needed two, since cashback is capped at $50 anyways, this link worked out to be cheaper (same model global rom 2x delivered after tax etc for $397). Plus side, don't have to wait for cashback😊
- 1

Comments say box was opened to install Global ROM, and apparently no OTA.
- 0

EOFY15 coupon doesn't seem to work anymore?
- 1

yep, appears spent
- 0

Good thing there's a mega coupon deal linked ;)
OZAU23 FYAU23- 4

Thanks Clear. Are these codes one time use?
- 0

Yes
- 1

Something like this with a paper texture filter and a pen be ok for note taking? Or anyone done anything of the like?
- 0

Add Silicone case and price reduces to $224.
Also $30 tracked from TCB.
- 3

AU$213.38 for me with silicone case (8 128GB Tab 11)
- 0

I'm not really across this market segment, does Lenovo make anything like an iPad Mini? I can see the Y700 "SUPER DUPER MEGA GAMING TABLET" but that's irrelevant for me.
Primarily this would be for reading ebooks from my home server, youtube viewing and plex content. Possibly something like an Alldocube device?
- 0

Does anyone know if there is a comparable model with 256GB or more? This device ticks lots of boxes save for that one!
- 0

There are versions of this with 256GB storage. Sounds like this deal (which is the Australian version of this tablet) might have been what you were looking for.
- 0

Storage is also expandable with a microSD card.
- 0

Was hoping the Pro would be cheap.
- 0

Does Google's circle to search work on this? It doesn't on CN roms.
What about multi user functionality?
- 0

Seems like a decent deal but holding out for the next Pro GT deal. Kids damaged the screen of the last one, but the unit was solid after removing some of the pre-installed apps.
- 0

Non-affiliated, according to the link checker
- 3

I remember this thing used to have deals around $150 before, RAM prices really jacking up all electronic products, no more ATL …
- 0

I can still find it for A$180. The issue is that sellers all flash the global onto the CN variant causing the bootlocker to be unlocked and breaking ota updates, Widevine DRM etc.
- 0

So meaning buying this thing will be a pain to do updates? Unless you just leave it as is?
- 1

This one appears to be a legit global tablet.
- 1

I bought a Lenovo Xianxiao 2025 11inch 6gb/128gb off Temu for $224 during one of the shopback 60% deals and it ended up around $104 I think
These are really common and pushed to students in China & they have a lot of stock, pretty sure mine was new but they open them & load some junk global rom to sell to overseas. Luckily you can easily flash the rom to an official Global rom without anything complex, (your Xianxiao will identify as an Idea Tab) and you can continue to get OTA updates manually. At least it will be free of any Chinese spyware and full of Google goodness.
- 2

What am i missing here. I see the price of 8gb/128 gb being AU$210.25 (with silicon case). Am i getting wrong product ?
- 0

Try changing the currency to US in the navigation and apply code Eon final checkout page. I note however my price is actually $15 cheaper, werid.
- 0

I paid AU $ 210.25 , which is $21 cheaper than OP's post
- 0

Wow A23.69 for this is certainly cheap. I guess Australia finally started charging for the gas it was giving away for free or something so AUD is now worth something against the USD?
- 0

Can you imagine if exchange rate of $160 USD is $24 AUD? That's like dividing by 0.
- 0

my bad. I was trying to edit it to say $203.69 but clearly failed.
- 0

What is the 'Standards' option mean for purchase
- 0

Is the promo over? All three of the codes above don't work for me.
- 0

I finally got it to work, and it was a right pain in the arse.
First, there was no "add to cart button", only "buy now". "Add to cart" would appear if I was logged out, so I added to cart whilst logged out, but secondly, as mentioned in my comment above, none of the three coupons above would be accepted. I literally just broke my Teclast T40 Pro trying to change the flakey USB C port myself, and I need a new tablet, so I thought I'd just buy it without the coupons.
After the purchase (around USD$170) I went back to the listing, just to confirm I couldn't get it cheaper, and lo and behold, suddenly the "add to cart" button was available whilst I was logged in. So I added to cart, went to check out used the FYAU23 code, and it worked! For some reason, nothing worked at all initially, but after purchasing the tablet, everything seemed to be working properly. So in the end I purchased the 8/128 with silicone case for USD153.85, and cancelled the first USD$170ish purchase.
Aliexpress really made me jump through hoops, but I eventually got there in the end. Hopefully my topcashback tracks, because the link for checking affiliated preducts says this isn’t affiliated, but after all I went through (including the part where I broke my old tablet) I'm happy I was able to get it for the price.
- 1

My shopback tracked $0, not sure if its for using the coupon
- 0

My cashback did track. It was $29-something, which will make the total outlay around AUD$195 delivered if approved. Time will tell whether this will actually be the case.
- 0

7040mAh battery in the title… but 10200mAh High-Capacity Battery in the description….
- 1

The description seems to reference a 12.7 inch tablet.
- 0

so which is which

I just received mine yesterday. It was already the latest, and I was able to connect it to Lenovo's Software Fix PC program to confirm that it is the latest version (May 2026). It was sealed (shrink wrap + Lenovo sticker over the box).

Seems you can't add other items to the order as there's only a buy it now button, can't say I do a lot of AliExpress shopping, is this normal?
