I like the flexible cable because it is less likely to cause damage to the USB port.

If you're using the reader with a phone, those dual plugs can be annoying.
I have the dual version from ugreen and have to take my phone case out because the cutout isn't big enough. Plus the thing sticks out too long . Much better getting a flexible cable one for phone use imo.

If phone covers are an issue - this Acer one is what I got as I too bought the UGreen and returned it cause it wouldn't fit with my thin ESR case on a 17 Pro

I have both. The Aliexpress one (white, apple style product) is painfully slow and gets even slower with large transfers. The UGREEN transfers at almost 200mb/s which is my rated SD card speed.

Great, want to know this too, but since I am only transferring maybe just 1 or 2 dashcam files and some mp3 songs, hence I can accept those $2 Ali slow speed ones. Thx!

Yeah it should be fine for your needs. I use mine for large RAW images so the faster speeds are needed in my case

Have one of these in my car to quickly grab stuff off my dash cam onto my phone if needed. Works well - nice and fast.

Thanks - the Wifi copy function of the dashcam is so slow compared to just ripping out the SD card. Either way I have to stop recording on the dashcam to be able to get something off it.
