  • Anything below $300? Tax time coming up

  • Is the chair AFRDI certified?

Also what is the warranty on the foam base? Cheers

    • Hi! The warranty is 3 years.

This chair is tested to BIFMA standards and certified to EN 1335, which are internationally recognised standards for office seating. It isn't AFRDI certified at this stage, but it has been designed and tested to meet the performance and durability requirements expected for everyday office use.

AFRDI certification is something we're currently evaluating for future models.

      Hope that helps!

  • On your website it shows the LTT has reviewed this chair however I was not able to find it. Can you link the review?

    • Hi there!

The chair was featured and reviewed as part of a showcase in a Linus Tech Tips video.
You can check out the full video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rofPMY54Ko

The specific review and breakdown of the C7 chair starts around the 24:20 mark.

      Hope this helps!

      • It wasn't reviewed. It was a sponsor of that video. Basically just an ad showing what the chair does.

  • Ergonomic

This chair is a great example of a product that is trying to cater to everyone. It's like the saying "jack of all trades, master of none". Why does an "Ergonomic Office Chair" need a headrest? Because if a chair properly supports your spine then you shouldn't need a headrest. A headrest is good if you want to lounge around but that's not what you should be doing with an office chair…

"Our spines are designed to fully support our heads… why should it be any different when we sit down?" - Herman Miller

    • Because there is such a thing as work content that is consumed passively. We don't all sit at our desks typing all day…

      • Well I just struggle to see how it can do both jobs well. If it's a chair for relaxing, it's probably going to not be the best chair for ergonomics. If it's a chair for ergonomics, it's probably not the best chair for relaxing.

        • It's no reclining couch, but as relaxing as it can get in an ergonomic chair - it even has an optional foot rest!

Certainly better than sitting upright the entire day.

  • What's the difference between this and the C7 Max?

    • You can google it, but the main difference I noticed was the seat cushion being upgraded to include a latex layer.

  • The base will be uncomfortable within an hour of use. Ive bought 3 different version of these kinds of chairs this year, all trash. The base HAS to be either way thicker with way better foam of mesh.

  • Is there a physical store somewhere to try this out? I see there's a 30 day return policy if disassembled and shipped back "like new" so does that mean i can try this out for 30 days and return it for full refund if uncomfortable?

  • Just received the C7 Max for ~$600 which has some improvements such as better padding in the seat cushion.

It's a wonderful chair so far and compares well with chairs 3 times its price such as the Leap v2. Only gripe is the arm rests move too easily when leaning on them, but not a deal breaker.

Im 6'4 and 105kg using for home office.

    • How's back support?

      • Excellent. The lumbar support does protrude a little however it is not a really tight mesh so does conform to your body a bit. For me it's the best I've had and suits my pronounced S shape back.

Being taller, the seat height and head rest is fine for me - I don't even have it on the highest setting.

Still early days though so can't comment on longevity, but so far so good.

    • If the Leap v2 was the same price, which would you choose? I can get used Leap v2 for around $600.

      • Depends how used it is. If near new and less than 2 years old then leap, if nothing more than for resale value.

But also factor in the only decent headrest for the leap is the atlas which is about an extra $300.

  • How is the armrest on these? I need something soft/padded/silicone rather than the usual hard rubbery fake leather armrest.

    • Hi, The armrests are on the firmer side to provide better support, rather than being soft or padded. We don't currently have softer armrest options, but we'll definitely pass your feedback on to the team.

  • Hello Flexispot. Please advise when are you getting more stock for this item in Pro Black, I really want to place an order and don’t want to miss out on the sales.

    • Hi, if you're referring to the E7 Pro in Black, we're expecting it to be back in stock by the end of July. You can place a pre-order now to lock in the current sale price. Thanks for your support!

      • Hello there. Thanks for your reply. Yes referring to the C7 premium ergonomic chair. So how can I place a pre order for the C7 ergonomic office chair in Pro Black on your website ? Is there an option to do that?

        • Hi,

Good news! The C7 Pro Black is now back on our website and available to purchase.

We'd recommend placing your order soon, as the remaining stock is limited.

Thanks for your support, and thank you for bringing this to our attention!

          • @FlexiSpot: Hello Flexispot. I am attempting to apply the code FSC7FT for the discount, but it’s bringing down the price to $475.99 not $407.99, what can I do about this ?

          • @FlexiSpot: So disappointed don’t tell me the offer has expired, I was trying to place the order last night and it wouldn’t reduce the price down to $407.99.

            • @ibsam04: Hi, we're really sorry for the confusion and understand your disappointment.

The $407.99 price was part of our EOFY promotion, which has now ended. Unfortunately, we're unable to honour that promotional price now that the campaign has finished. As mentioned earlier, stock was very limited, which is why we recommended placing an order as soon as possible. In fact, the promotional stock for the C7 Foam has already sold out as of yesterday.

The good news is that we'll have another promotion on the C7 Mesh with Footrest coming soon, bringing the price down to $449.99. We'd recommend keeping an eye, as we'll be announcing it soon.

Thanks again for your understanding, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.

              • @FlexiSpot: Very sad, because last night I was literally about to place the order for the C7 in Pro Black and it was in stock and the total price wouldn’t reduce down to $407.99 only $475.99. I tried to open a live chat and I did not get a response. It looks like I’ll have to wait for that $449 sale or find a similar and reasonable priced chair like the C7 from another place. I will wait and see.

              • @FlexiSpot: Does the $449 sale apply to the Foam version with footrest as above or just mesh one?

                • @ibsam04: Hi, only the mesh one.

                • @ibsam04: Hi! Thanks for your patience.

Our new promotion is now live, and the C7 Mesh with Footrest is available for $449.99.

You can check out the new deal here:

                  • @FlexiSpot: Thank you for letting me know, I much prefer to get the foam seat pad version as it suits me better. I will wait for the sales on that one and hopefully they will drop to at least $450-$470 in the near future.
