  • So how is it bluetooth?

    • There is no mention of Bluetooth that I can see..? BLE is the brand..it has a B in it.

      • BLE is Bluetooth Low Energy. Never heard of a BLE brand, however BLE as an acronym for bluetooth is very recognisable.

        • Not sure why you're getting down voted, I clicked on the link because I was confused how the monitor riser could be Bluetooth as well.

Ble is quite standard to mean Bluetooth low energy. I suspect the brand name and confusion was probably intentional.

          • @Ezuku: Some people on OzBargain downvote anything, then the herd mentality kicks in.

I believe BLE is to Bing Lee what ANKO is to Kmart.

            • @BestTechAdvisor: Ah, that makes sense. That's fair enough then.

            • @BestTechAdvisor: Yeah OzBargainers love to believe they think differently from others when it's the exact opposite.

            • @BestTechAdvisor: It's basically Reddit mode especially with the up and down doots.

            • @BestTechAdvisor: Looks like it might be a rebranded Laser. I'll remove from title anyway since BLE doesn't appear to exist as a brand.

        • It's a registered trade mark.

          https://search.ipaustralia.gov.au/trademarks/search/view/155…

Owner's address is the same as Bing Lee's address, so probably a subsidiary or other related entity.

          • @OY57ER: Just because it's a registered trademark doesn't mean people know it exists, or that it means something other than the well-known meaning.

    • @jv missed opportunity 😥

  • Stupid question maybe, but where does the charging stand get its power from ?

    • far right USB port is a USB in port you run a cable into that. If you are using your standard pc USB port, its going to be a slow charger.

  • Kmart has an extendable version with 4*USB 2:

    https://www.kmart.com.au/product/monitor-stand-with-usb-hub-…

free delivery if you have Onepass

    • 4 x US 2.0 ports vs USB 3.0 but

  • How wide is this? It doesn’t mention in the specifications.

    • Should be:

      PRODUCT DIMENSIONS:
      550 x 210 x 82 mm

      From here.

    • I googled the model number off the Bing Lee site and found the specs… YMMV.

  • the spacious 55cm gap underneath the stand

Jesus, is this a standing desk for hobbits?

  • Thanks OP! Purchased ✅ .. Was thinking abt the Kmart one but apart from being fugly, it's only usb 2 (as reve posted). Good find though reve 👍

  • USB 3.0 Charging Hub means no data over USB? If so, why memory sticks on photos? Is it normal USB 3.0 Hub?

    • charge everyday peripherals like mice, keyboards, and flash drives

You don't charge your flash drives?

    • Read the description

  • Damn sold out all over nsw apparently

    • there were still 3 left at West Gosford around 11am today.

      • I actually told the apparent "stock manager" who was on online chat that moments ago before I drove off I was at Hornsby Bing Lee and they said they had 1 in Carlingford and a bunch that were just too far from Hornsby.
Then she flexed her title power and said its sold out state wide… horrible

  • Picked up mine just now, it comes with a USB-A to A cable, I assume it has 3.0 speed. Pretty nice price!
